A friend sent me someone’s Instagram profile, Ruben. He’s 24 years old, extremely fit, has single-digit body fat per cent year-round, lives the perfect lifestyle to look like this, oh and he is literally a model.
But then he got the news that he had lymphoma cancer… so my friend told me that Ruben wants to get back to where he was and he wants to document his entire journey back to fit to share his story and maybe inspire others.
So today we’re meeting him for the first time, but not in the most obvious place you would expect

I'm dealing with this now. Trying to not just get back but get better after fighting breast cancer. I couldn't do anything but msybe walk a few blocks while in treatment. I literally did not have the endurance to do more than that.

My mother fou go t cancer for 3 years and beat it once but it came back mutated, maybe to everything chemo in the world and she passed early 2023
