Watching a guy that spends money without looking at his statement balance is mesmerizing to me.

He should have Elon back on the show.

Bill Gates is an Enemy of Humanity.

The man has been on a productivity tear since his divorce. Just like the advent of the internet didn’t help most people get smarter, neither will AI. Most people are not self-starters and are allergic to learning. For the self-starters though, holy god, you won’t need to rely on anyone.

AI will crush the middle class and benefit billionaires from the technology field! We will live in a technofeudalism where technology companies will be in control of everything!
@knallhardt September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Bill, its just a yes or no question you have been ask and you know the stakes are high. The gap between rich and poor people has never been higher. Rich people got richer after the economic crisis and corona but in the same time more people got poorer and poorer. So what is your problem to accept that you are part of the troublemakers?
@johncollinson4147 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
The World is too fast already and the people are miserable...
@gonzales420 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
I think what he means is the one he has no direct control over.
@tbthomas5117 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
So called AI is the codification human corruption. And who better as its spokesperson, than Bill Gates, its first and foremost practitioner.

We wouldn’t be here, on smart phones watching and commenting for free without this man making that money. If he didn’t get that rich and famous, he simply wouldn’t have done it. Or as much. Then the other titans like Steve Jobs , and Linus big T etc wouldn’t have been driven to do what they did either. He is like chairman Mao to China. They hate or love him, but all realize that they are more capable today, good or bad; than they would be had he never existed.
@Dealmaker1 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Whats the deal with Bill Gates pin?
@oingpla September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Billionaires strive for more, it is an addiction.
@sherrinunya4079 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
I really wish Bill Gates would immediately solve our hungry & homeless. He can afford it and would barely feel it.
He could then be considered a truly decent man. 😢
@GTHarmonica September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Shame it didn’t address what he’s somewhat concerned with
@francoluissotomayor3123 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Fire and nukes don’t either

From a classroom teacher, learning is about RELATIONSHIPS. Bill Gates’ level of understanding here is so sorely lacking there are no words to describe it. Remember when folks proposed YouTube could replace teachers. Sir, JUST NO. Highly effective classroom teachers that place emphasis on building strong relationships of mutual respect with their students is the answer. Full stop. Now, tax the billionaires and pay the highly effective classroom teachers a living wage so they will stay in their teaching posts! I agree with Bernie about billionaires not even a question.
@superdogzone6315 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Why did Bill's wife leave him again? Too many trips to Little St James Island w Epstein?
@susanspellmeyer6532 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Bullshit
@bzick405 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Bill Gates is kind of predictable he's a really really rich guy that doesn't want to pay as much in taxes as other people want him to pay but he also agrees he didn't pay enough so that's the one thing we can all agree even the richest person in the world agrees he's not paying enough taxes
@kanishkaveediyabandara3028 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Bill Gates always bring such genuine positive vibes!
@bzick405 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
This is why we need social medicine and free education. Bill Gates by himself could pay for it. His smug look towards the Bernie Sanders comments make me think 1.3 billion left would be too much
@ryanlovelock3024 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Colbert has a point, but an AI tutor is not a substituting for a parent...

4:08 I wish the bozo in grey suit just had kept his mouth shut and let Bill Gates speak, it was about to get really interesting
@Roguerebel297 September 30, 2024 - 12:17 am
Unless ai can learn to extrapolate the data we give it and it can draw new conclusions and discoveries it’ll have obvious limitations
