//Description:
I was slightly disappointed to hear that we were using python in school, and I didn’t really know much about the language, so I decided making a game would be a good way to learn, and why not use pygame to do it?

I'm so sorry you were put through this…
You're talking about what you did, not showing us what you did
Youtube idea: "Im making a game but YOU GUYS teach me how to make it"
is there a way to make a game without pygame in python??
I’m on quite a similar journey, using this for advice
love how he didn’t show anything the entire video lol
> Be stupid
> Don't read documentation
> Write shitty code
> Blame python and pygame
ehm, so you are saying that python is not good in OOP? I think it's a bit incorrect, but I agree that python is not for game dev.
Python is HELL WHEN IT COMES TO GAMES
pygame is a game engine
HOW, i cant understand :(, i cant, show me HOOOOWWWWWWW
I want to learn this way, seems fun.
Python is pretty fast and usually not too many stupid errors that make no sense will appear if you do the python code diligently
I guess beginners' luck was just like "nope" when it saw you were trying to use python lol
But seriously, python is my main workflow (and pygame, technically) and it works awesome.
bruh pygame is a game engine
As a guy who worked on a small project with pygame, I can understand your pain with reseting things after game over. And I did not have prior experience with other programing languages or even OOP for that matter.
nice this so cool

when i asked my dad where babies caome from, he said chaderbox makes thenm in python
We need a JavaScript game next
Great to see you trying this out. Perhaps you could look into other frameworks with object oriented languages if that was your main beef with it.
BTW pygame is a game engine (with no UI)
i have a challenge make a game AGAIN in PYTHON but use oop for most of the code
game over is ez just an is_alive bool
practice makes perfect!
I represent Python and Pygame usage across the globe. It seems you're having fun! I would like to sponsor all of your content, so you'd never have to use anything but Python and Pygame ever again. Fun!
I just got tired of working on a game in pygame so I went to YouTube and found this….. wow..
i cant understand. is this possible to make a normal game(not a snake or flappy bird) without a game engine using C#? really want to know but couldnt find any information about it
Cool! 😀
