Redfall Review – One of the Worst Games I Played So Far In 2023

Redfall just never comes together. I got to test the retail patch due to the embargo snafu and put in some footage of that as well. Sadly no improvement in how it plays or feels.
Redfall has its fun gameplay moments but they have eaten away with every bug, odd design choice, and boring skill that just don’t elevate it. It is just not that good.

UPDATE : Game now runs at 60FPS on Xbox Series Consoles , yes it's still a big dog shyt quite the biggest one of the last decade !!!

sure the graphics for star was jedi were bad, but, at least the game itself was good, and at least the developers continued working on the game after its release, whereas redfall was dead before its release, as stated by the developers, who said they hoped it got cancelled

When they had the BLM character front and center in all marketing, I knew this game was a disaster waiting to happen.

Woke developers are less competent and lazier when it comes to game development.

The game industry is in shambles. Remember when these companies made new games? Or games that weren't totally dogshit on release? Its been over a decade since skyrim & gtav came out. They chose to abandon red dead online. Nintendo is greedy money hungry rereleasing decades old games. Its pretty depressing. Im hoping starfield can deliver

I didnt have alot of the bugs you mentioned. Def some bugs, and its annoying, but it wasnt as bad as it seemed to be for you. I played through the whole game and had fun. It crashed a few times, had some bugs that were funny or annoying, and its way way too easy. But its fine. I had no frame drops at all but I did have cell loading stutters. I'd give it a 6

One big trouble with Redfall is that it was Bethesda not listening to its customers who have been telling them non stop for years that we want another Elderscrolls game, that is unless they make that some multiplayer mess instead.

I played about 10 hours of this game, didn't finish it because fuck this game. But this is the most accurate review I have seen so far. You really nailed the game perfectly without just shitting on it for 30 minutes. Great honest, real review.

I think the problem is that the developers of this game zoomed in too much and started making and finishing. Nobody stepped back and was like wait a minute does anyone actually want to evaluate where this is headed how this is composed. Do we actually want to see the overall game mechanics and functions before releasing it.

Ok, i'v logged about a couple of hrs and I think this game is fun. I went into this game with zero expectations and no knowledge other then seeing it all over my Xbox. I definitely would pay $70 bucks for it but it's definitely fun to play on gamepass

I would love to see another immersive sim from them. They excel at it. Orey is one of my all time favorite games.
