Casio GBDH2000 is Casio’s BEST Fitness Watch!

by admin

The GBDH2000 is Casios best fitness watch hands down. Yes, it has smart watch features, requires a charging cord…but when you can run a smart watch with heart rate, O2 sensor for almost a month without charging…that’s an incredible watch.

You’re kind of up the creek without a paddle in you’re chased by a circus bear (those guys can ride bikes 😂😉). Nice watch, but it seems to mirror my Garmin Instinct solar so I couldn’t justify spending the money.

i wish they didnt push the fitness crap on every single watch out there. talking to garmin too. why cant they just release a proper standalone (without smartphone !!) watch with gps functionality (basic, not maps, even just points and basic directions like the garmin instinct 2) and full solar capability (not including gps battery drain of course) ? the gpr b1000 was the closest we ever got, and of course it was discontinued..

I have the same watch and I wear it everyday now. And I have mudman, mudmaster and M5610.

Great video I think you have to go in your phone's permission and select what you want to come through

This is a fantastic tool! And the strap fits! Not sure why they gave it a plastic buckle though. I love the display and the features too! I think I need a fitness watch as well. That should help with me knowing where I stand during the day! The charge intervals is fantastic. My previous smartwatch had about three days worth of use before charge. Those notifications are why I threw my previous smartwatch away. I hear yo on the running hahaha! Have a blessed day Bro!

Have any owners of this and other watches had difficulties with the Casio Android app ??

Apparently it's a bit of a nightmare to get the notification settings to stay put.

A friend of mine upgraded his phone and the watch just will NOT accept changes to the original notification settings…

Thank you for this in depth review Tim. These watches are very expensive and getting first hand ownership knowledge is critical to making a good purchasing decision 👍

I love the Casio style, but my son's Garmin has such a great Android app…

Casio is late to the game of Fitness/smart watch.

For ruggedness, features, user-friendliness, connectivity I would choose Garmin of the similar price bracket over G-Shock.
Like the smart watch features on paper but feel the burden of the need to wearing it all the time to reap the full benefits of health reading status, while also need to take off to charge using proprietary charging cable.

My Garmin Instinct 1 solar which was my first proper and expensive fitness/smart watch is malfunctioning for almost a year now – always auto off. Seems to be the common issue among the model.
So it is useless now.
Anyway, sooner or later it will be obsolete when there’s newer version coming out or when the (irreplaceable?) battery is dead and not supported by latest apps.

That neg display really is good. Looks like a good compromise between a smartwatch and proper watch. Given how fast bears can run a bike is better than two feet! 😂

15:47 why are you running meme popped in my head, great watch, but after owning a smart watch myself I found the smart features no more than a gimmick for a non active person.
