I enjoyed The Duke. It felt like the perfect size for me.
I enjoy this video but I'll never stop finding PC players using controllers not funny. I've been told for decades that the mouse and keyboard is superior and now I see more people just using a controller.

I dont get why people hate the kinect so much, i grew up with a kinect and xbkx 360. I only had 2 controller games the rest wer all kinect, it was a lot of fun.

The duke controllers design wasn’t intended,
The motherboard came out so huge they had to do it like that.
But there is no excuse for those joysticks
The charging case, the concave original 360 thumbsticks, the weight of the controller. Everything about the Elite Series 2 makes everything else feel cheap in comparison. I’ve had problems with buttons becoming sticky and missing inputs but it’s still the best controller I’ve ever used.
I have huge hands, so using the Duke is honestly a lot of fun for me despite its comical size. It kinda melts into place, and I like the stiffer trigger feeling in comparison to the newer controllers. I have both the original and the Xbox One variant 🙂
2:45 it does function like any other remote. did you know every remote needs a reciever, thats why you used to control someone elses tv with your remote if they were thesame brand because it was thesame frequency. nowadays the modern remotes are calculated to work on any device you set it up at, even old systems but it still requires a reciever.

I remembered the 360 controller as the “GOAT” as well but using it today, it does feel very dated next to the Series controller. Amazing how memories and nostalgia can affect reality form and function lol

1:37 Microsoft was banking on the kinetic to be the next big time way too much. They made a crap ton of them because they thought they were going to do another 60 million units. But when the Xbox One flopped and the Kinect was dropped Microsoft had a bunch of those Kinects left over. I've seen Kinects all over the place. I've seen them at museums for dance things, having falling object bounce off their shadow, and one that was a real time terrian elevation map. I've seen them at hospitals to check in on patients. There's still probably warehouses full of kinects that never got sold and are waiting to be reused somewhere else

I have heard a rumor that for the giant Xbox logo on the duke controller was going to kinda act like a Dreamcast controller with the opening to see the screen on the VMU, but due to either time constraints or something along those lines the idea was scrapped
