This thing is utterly ridiculous. I'll get one if they decide to start giving it second screen capability for inventory/hud/etc while you play on a TV but otherwise this is pretty pointless. If you HAVE to play in a motel room, just take your laptop and log in.

Honestly don’t get it , it can’t run games good tbh hella lag n frames are stuck inn30fps or lower. Can’t play racing games cuz the background won’t load
The best game probably for this is like Diablo 3 or 4. Sold it after 1 week of having it

Just bought one and I have to say I love this thing. I just dont have time during the week between my wife and kid to put time into gaming on my console in the basement but this helps put in some down time during the week.

Bluetooth headsets are awful with bad latency. 2.4Ghz audio is better and what most gaming headsets use, with the addition of a dongle for pretty much latency-free wireless audio.

But you can remote play ps5 on a tablet too. You can even use w controller. I might buy this if it was $99.99 but anymore isn't worth it.

Its really frustrating I'm with ee network in the UK It works fine at home but out and about doesn't connect to remote play doesn't work i know people on other networks and they have no issues

Glad you mentioned how we already have free remote play. I finally bought a tablet a couple years ago and using that and a controller is overall better than the portal but also generally more expensive and maybe not as convenient if you don't have a table to prop the tablet on.

I am glad to hear the portal added in being able to play without being on the same wifi network since that was a death sentence for it. Personally I still won't buy one but maybe once it's under $100 I'd consider it.

Considering the life of the PS5 controllers I have questions. Biggest concerns are battery longevity and stick drift. I've gone through 4 PS5 controllers since getting mine 2 years ago, all have either had the battery completely die or run into stick drift issues. I can only assume but if these issues occur will you just have to spend another $200 for a replacement?
