be aware – we've only seen the PC version – we do not currently know the state of the PS5 version performance.

My take on what the game does well:
– Captures action rpg combat in a more casual way while still providing a challenge. Basically it is less frustrating for game journalists than other action RPGs can be (haha).
– Simple skill tree/balanced progression
– Do not need to grind to much for item drops like you would in other action RPGs
– Good story that does not break up the action too much. Does a good job of expanding lore through descriptions and the journal.
What it does not do well:
– Worlds feel small. Getting from boss to boss happens very quickly with little exploration.
– Does not have a diverse array of armors and weapons you would expect from the average action rpg.
Keep in mind many of these things are trade offs, such as simple skill tree typically meaning that you are going to get less options which some may see as a bad thing instead, so it is a matter of personal taste. Even though there are more things I'd like from the game, I'd still give it a 9/10 because what it does well, it does extremely well and it is a fun game nonetheless. Major props to the small inexperienced team that completely exceeded expectations.
Well, to all casual gamers out there:
This is not an easy game, yes it is not a full ass souls like – for example it doesn’t have annoying platforming elements
But anyway – it is harder then Jedi series for example
Fallen order is nearly a perfect mix for me
And I kinda gave up on the serpent boss [about 5% of the game – I guess]) at list for now)
May be will come back to it with time, but still, it is frustrating for people who are not used to that kind of crap)
I’m not refunding it, only out of respect to the cultural phenomena it has become – it is a beautiful game and people shouldn’t quit doing good stuff, but it ain’t for me, I guess
when i telling my kid some games are just golden and worth your time this game is what i mean. i am just happy this game is happening 😊

Am I the only person that thinks The Before You Buy franchise of this channel fell off? Because, if we're being real, this is more of a game review instead of preparation. It isn't the same as the old days, when they specified the hardware required and performance rates of the game. Please fix this

It's really an astonishing game concept/graphics/music wise but it seems like there are far too many bosses you face in such a short amount of time. So far it's like traveling 5-10 minutes and running into boss 🥴

I finally beat the game for the first time not skipping a single boss. Grinding up the last few items and then here I go new game +.

Idk…. I just purchased this game and its very frustrating. Im getting through it but if this is the entire game, doing minimal damage while bosses can wipe out your health bar no problem is very frustrating. I used to put every game I played on the highest difficulty but something has changed recently. Its like these games force you to learn every single boss mechanic and punish you way too hard, while playing on the "default" difficulty. Why not let players learn the move sets while lowering the difficulty? My goodness…. I've been a gamer for over 30 years. This forcing you to do things a specific way and not giving you options is ridiculous. Btw I played BG3 on Tactician difficulty and beat that with my girlfriend. Many people won't even touch that difficulty in that game. It gives you time to think n try new things. Im sick of these games (Black Myth Wukong) being unplayable and just designed badly. Btw I also beat Elden Ring but I've never beat any other souls game. Eldin Ring allows you to go wherever you want and gain experience. Idk I'm really not liking this BMW game so far. Who the F has the time to master every single boss move set n just play to be punished. Games are losing their core audience more n more n you have "YouTubers" who play video games every single day, day after day, saying oh this is a great game. 😅 I swear, this generation of "influencers" and "YouTubers" is not going to last. Enjoy it while you can, someday you'll be forced to get a real job that actually produces something beneficial 😅
