I believe that this style of art should be more thorougly dissected by the public. It's almost like peering into a different reality entirely. They should have art exhibits were you put on a virtual reality headset and explore these foreign creations.

I thought of blahhh instantly when the video started. I played SO MUCH weird map CS1.6 back before Source came out. Blahhh was so large and intricate a map, you wouldn’t finish downloading it before the server moved onto the next map and all that time was wasted. Once you were in, it was a really well balanced map but a lot of the time people would truce just so they could explore everything in the map. It was full of a lot of secrets too. Good times

Me and my friends used to play hide and seek on blahhh for HOURS on end EVERY day (on cs 1.6), truly some of the most fun i've had when i was younger. I did replay it with another friend group not long ago, it just always feels so nostalgic. The random HU HA's still jumpscare me to this day. I am definitely gonna check out the other abstract maps you've mentioned in the video, cheers!
