None of these people you mentioned are musicians. They're people who just go into a studio say a few words written and produced by someone else. Talent has become a word thrown around a lot on even stupid people these days. A musician is someone who does everything from singing, producing, mixing, playing all the instruments, they're completely 100% involved in the process and making music without having to rely on producers. For example Prince who was an auteur of his craft. A prolific genius.
