Life may be great, but it can't be perfect all the time. It might be just be cruddy, can be a butt for those who had a cruddy life, and so on. But like a famous blue fish said " just keep swimming swimming swimming "

Disney and Pixar during it's glory days. The telling of good stories that give important life lessons instead of pushing woke agenda.

Now we need a pixar movie about animation, and how its okay to love it as an adult, because people can't grasp it despite so many good animated movies.

I got to say what I learned from BRAVE was
You NEED to listen and embrace those you hold dear or you could lose them.

As much as I love 95 % of what "Coco" gives us, I'm irked by how Miguel is prepared to give up music for his family (or really, he would have done it just to please Imelda).
It is presented as a heart-warming beautiful moment, but he was basically agreeing to become unhappy and let the family stay dysfunctional for no good reason.
Yeah, that is not how the movie ended, and I must say that I like that Miguel at least insisted that the family would help Hector, or he wouldn't give Imelda any promises.
And he still was the only one in the family, who dared to be sassy to Imelda.
But that moment when Miguel was prepared to (try to) give up music shouldn't have been there.
Especially as there was a great scene earlier when he told Imelda that he shouldn't have to make a choice between his passion and his family.

In my point of view, there are two lessons to Coco. Family is important, but is also important for a family to supportive. Miguel can be a musician and live with his family.

The biggest lesson for Marlin, the main character in Finding Nemo, is… ‘If you love someone, set them free.’

What I got from Coco is that death isn't a bad thing and it's ok to be sad as long as you remember the person's life

@darkfire170 September 14, 2024 - 8:20 pm

Frozen: you don't need a strong prince/man to save the day

Coco and Ratatouille made me feel soo deep everytime and that remember me song in coco ♥️🥺

@joditiarsutrisno5556 September 14, 2024 - 8:20 pm

I think Coco taught me more than family value, but the fear of being forgotten.
"If someday I died, will someone remember me ?". My best friend passed away 2 years later and this movie push me to meet him, even tough we can't hug each other anymore.
I am just grateful Coco tell me about this lesson
