Maybe schedule a friendly with San Marino for that signature win

The Thai ladyboy team is better than this USMNT currently.

Traveled 9 hours round trip for this game, felt like a loss for sure. Still cool to see the USMNT play! But yes underwhelming indeed, New Zealand was all over us all game

Until we destroy the current US Soccer system and rebuild youth soccer with different incentives we will continue to be mediocre at best.

What a joke. The USMNT should never have been in a position to draw with New Zealand via a fluke goal – especially with 9 minutes after that to get the winner. Too many blown chances throughout the game.

Good luck, Poch. 🤣

BTW, who yells louder on Youtube? Jimmy Conrad or Ian Joy?

Pochettino's top priority is to make the USMNT players play one touch style of play, which will speed up the match. Its pretty simple!

Fossey did not make a single mistake whole game. Aaronson looked dangerous. U.S. slowness and giving ball away was just first 15 minutes. New Zealand goal was a complete fluke. U.S. dominated possession for significant parts except first 15 minutes and last 10. You guts are too harsh. U.S. looked much better than against Canada. Need to improve finishing / try different strikers. I didn’t see why first U.S. goal was called back. But for that and really bad luck on NZ goal, U.S. won 2-0. Lots of room for improvement but much better than the Canada game. Balogun needs to sit until he finds his edge again – has been given a free ridePepsi showed a lot of helping out when we did not have the ball. Musah didn’t have his best game, but was not as bad as you say. He had a couple of his trademark runs forward and a super shot from 35 yards.

Maybe the player`s have got more on their minds than just soccer, maybe the political climate is a big weight on their shoulders. Other countries are playing free, nothing to lose football. I can see the strain on all Americans. Tense times.

Again, this is not a golden generation. The talent is not top level, mostly bench players in Europe. So how is this surprising?

@thr1525 September 13, 2024 - 6:18 pm

How was this surprising? Chris Richards speed of thought was a concern last match. Ideas, tactics are too complicated for this group — just pick the guys who will fight.
