The Cubs topped the Dodgers last night at Dodger stadium 10-4 to open up their series and road trip. Monday’s game marked the 7th time in the last 17 games that the Cubs had scored 10 or more runs, and the former Dodgers were a big reason why.
Cody Bellinger and Michael Busch combined for six hits, six RBIs and a pair of HRs against their former teams. Bellinger homered to get things started for the Cubs and a four-hit effort from Michael Busch helped the Cubs run away with it in LA.

Bring up Kevin Alcantara, Shaw, Triantos, maybe a pitcher and see what we got for the future.
It's really unbelievable how inconsistent this team is, they'll probably get shut out tonight
The cubs bullpen blew 23 saves so far
In the off season we need another power hitter a star and legit closer
If the Cubs play the last 18 games on the road then they have a chance for a playoff spot😂😂
Good morning, Anthony… Man, it's feast or famine wit deez guyz lately. We coulda used some of that run scoring prowes vs Yankees. Oh well, whaddya gonna do—that's baseball ⚾🤷♂️ Keep up the great work here and enjoy the rest of the season.
Last night’s game was a good example of the type of team the Cubs are trying to become. A balanced offense, up and down the lineup, along with good starting pitching and a solid bullpen. This was what Jed Hoyer talked about at the end of last season and why they hired Craig Counsell.
It was fun to watch Cody Bellinger and Michael Busch prove to the Dodgers why they made mistakes in letting them go….but, I’m glad they did.
Watching Bellinger and Crow-Armstrong make some sharp defensive plays showed me that this team isn’t easing up. I, also, saw a lot of hustle on the basepaths last night and the Cubs players are playing like they still have a chance. I haven’t seen any sign of quit in them. So, bringing up and starting some of the guys from Iowa would have been “waving the white flag” and I’m glad they’re not.
Keep winning, dont lose any games. Its that easy!
Yamamoto is scheduled to only pitch 3 innings. He wasn't great in his 2 rehab starts so hopefully the Cubs can jump on him like they did Buehler.
one step forward and four steps back
Bring back the stache. Bring back the stache!!
