Just watched this movie. Did have high expectations of it but, unfortunately it was just boring.
A bit of a hot mess and not really worth my time. Keaton was of coarse brilliant as i expected. However, wasn't enough to save this from itself!! It's definitely a hard pass, unfortunately. See the orgional first is my recommendation.
What about Silvia Sidney the case worker no mentioned of her character 😅😅😅 so I’m assuming beetlejuice took her place since he has his own work office know 😅😅😅😅
Even though the movie makes beetlejuice look as the bad guy cause he wants to be with Lydia so badly There actually best friends like the cartoon series that’s why he helps her get her daughter back but for a price to be with Lydia 😅😅😅😅😅
Beetlejuice x Lydia please
Next year September
Eeeee
The juice is loose!😅❤
I personally think the CGI is probably bad on purpose just as a way to hold it to scale with the simplicity of the practical effects. Make the film feel more classic.
They should never put in Jenn 😡
Dude you spelled the name of the movie wrong it’s Betelgeuse
@0:17 The first showing of her face, Catherine O'Hara you can tell shes right back into the role perfectly. Acting 10+
Would Beetlejuice join Lord Vortech in LEGO Dimensions
Very excited! I've always liked beetlejuice
Cool 😎
Totally cool.
I wonder if they will make it more like the cartoon where Beetlejuice actually befriends them /becomes an alliance this time
Brilliant 😮
Im w huge Beetlejuice fan
Oh Hooray !
"The name in laughter, from the hereafter !" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This 2nd part is called Beetlejuice Beetlejuice… Make your math kids
Can’t wait
Hollywood completely and utterly out of ideas…
Don't Ever Say That Name
Please please do not let this be woke…..
Finally! "The Juice is loose!" Luv it!
I thought Johnny Depp was supposed to be in it
Lydia’s wearing the red wedding dress! 😱 I wonder if BeetleJuice is gonna TRY to marry her again 😳 he DOES have a thing for her after all
You realize the bats from the face says another Batman with Keaton is coming after this. Last time he did Beetlejuice he did Batman at the same time.
1:29 What?! Didn't Keaton asked specifically to use as less CGI as possible and stick to practical effects? Even my 8 y/o niece can do better with a plane toy and some dry ice playing over a bucket filled with water… Maybe in context this sequence makes sense… and it's more appropriate to be in CGI… but… my eyes are hurting anyway
Can't wait for this sequel! 🎬 If you thought the first Beetlejuice had some wild scenes, you should see our countdown of the craziest moments! Come check it out!
While I'm keeping an open mind, there are 2 things the trailer leaves me puzzled about:
1. Where are Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, and Jeffrey Jones' characters?
I know the reasons why the actors aren't there: Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis are clearly older when they shouldn't be aging with being dead and all. Jeffrey Jones'… Just Google him if you're curious, but I get that's why they clearly killed him off. But even then, the story is about the afterlife, so his character should still be around.
2. Why are they depicting Beetlejuice as having a thing for Lydia in this movie?
First, she was underaged in the first movie, so… again, Google up Jeffrey Jones.
Second, that wasn't the reason why Beetlejuice wanted to marry her in the first movie; he needed to marry her, so he could stay in the world of the living without being bound by the "saying his name 3 times" thing.
Lydia just happened to be the only capable person willing to agree to it, because she was in a panicked state of desperation, not having time to consider her decision, because Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis' literal souls were going to be inadvertently obliterated by Otho at any moment.
It had nothing to do with love or even lust. In a way, you can say it was all politics when you add in the bureaucracy angle of the afterlife.
Again, I'm keeping an open mind. I'm confident that they'll explain these things in the movie proper, even if it's just in passing with throwaway lip service.
I'm just a curious blow hard who felt the need to bring them up. 😂
Don’t even care seriously all it is is remake after remake
Looks good!
I'm excited to see this…..
I'm sorry I misspoke, what I meant to say was I'm excited to see how they destroyed this one, just like they've destroyed all of the other remakes.
I’ll give it a shot but………not holding out much hope. Anyone who’s been paying attention knows why. Anyone who isn’t is letting their excitement override their basic pattern recognition.
I just watched the original. This looks like a turd compared to it.
Looks like we might get some really good movies this year!!
Deadpool and Wolverine
Wolfs
Beetlejuice
I’m loving it!
🥳🥳🥳
I’m going to love this movie
