Did you experience any of the extremely high CPU temperatures, even on modern rigs? I have about a constant 75 degree Celsius, but people are reporting up to 90 degrees

I don't know how every reviewer seems to have no performance issues. This game is HEAVILY CPU bound. If you don't have a beefy processor, good fuckin luck. Even my i9 9900k at 5Ghz can't keep up. I'm lucky to get 50 fps, usually averaging 45 with an RTX 2080ti. And the settings make zero difference. Even at the lowest possible resolution with settings on low I get the same framerate as I do maxed out at 1440p. If it performs like this on my setup I feel for the console players who are probably stuck at 30-40fps as well. I'm nearly tempted to refund and swap over to console to at least get the benefit of using my TV.

Also the game automatically installs Epic Online Services without telling you and an account is required to use cross play online. Fun stuff.

I think it's insane how this game has been doing all the right things. No DRM, no MTX, a full-ass campaign with optional co-op, fanservice out the ASS for 40k nerds, satisfying as fuck brutal combat, MORE CO-OP, ANNNNNNNND PVP multiplayer? This is insanity for 2024!

I'm actually glad the melee combat is relatively simple, thats not a negative at all, it doesn't have to be super deep imo, would rather have a good solid moveset instead of a comboluted bloated moveset akin your average DMC/platinum games title lol.
Plus im sure you could do combos with your guns, gadgets and abilities. But who knows maybe they can add more in a future updates to spice things up.

Some idiots will think "oh it feels like a game from 2010s" & think that's a bad thing. Yeah, only brainless tools or heretics will see a game where you play a 10-foot-tall cyborg super soldier where you kill tons of Xenomorphs on steroids to prevent them from eating you & the entire solar system & call it bad.

When that first Space Marine 2 trailer dropped, my first thought was, "I wish Totalbiscuit could see this." I'm glad to see Sabre delivered on the hype that trailer generated, and actually got to release a AAA game that actually looks, feels, and performs like a AAA game should. Glory to the Emperor!

Yeah, Sable were the right ones for the job. They did an amazing job with World War Z. They added new chapters, weapons, characters, and modes after launch. The gameplay felt good, and you had tons of zombies on screen while keeping a smooth performance.
