It’s definitely dead. Only losers like Mojo pretend it’s alive so they can be unemployed and make money off of YouTube views from 12-year-olds. The hype is not real. The hobby is dead.

PSA are getting rich off fools grading wemby stroud base cards. The true hobby isn’t growing at all. Dumb money spending recklessly and this will be short lived…You don’t even believe the hobby is growing. When was the last time you bought cards? You’re just waiting like everyone else with a brain for the prices to keep dropping. Influencers pumping fake narratives like fathers bringing their daughters into the hobby, and 35 million cards in COMC is the problem with the hobby. 2,500 bidders worldwide 😩 that’s not a lot of people by no stretch of the imagination. Are you here to educate your followers or for “The Hobby”

Hobby far from being dead national was packed ,shows in my area packed, hobby will continue with this bad economy collectables are more tangit, once economy recovers then it will go back to pre pandemic times. First thing will be the prices of the boxes to fall with all the cheating going on then new modern stuff will tank because they will price there self out of business history rebeats it's self. But cards will survive they always do. Our economy is going back to old times when swapping is the way you will buy stuff . Just my opinion

With interest rates being so high lately a person with a 2 million net making 5% in a guaranteed bank account is now making 100k in interest… that is continuing to fuel the covid money of higher in folks… I’ve been buying more cards in 2023 and 2024 then during covid for that reason.. 100k in intersest needs to go somewhere and I continue to buy sports cards...

The hobby isn't dead, but collectors are clearly undead, zombies even. Watching people pay $500+ for poorly made unlicensed Topps Chrome basketball is a clear sign that these people are searching for BRRRRAAAAIIIINS!

Its a Hobby not a profession and you should treat it as such... its election year, interest is up, gass is up, everything is up and our freedoms are being taken away slowly, so ya buying cards are low priority. the market will dictate the prices and of course store fronts and shows will feel the effects. were In the digital era so make your "business" on line and identify with the common man for the good of society not for the "hobby"

The hobby has been strong in my eyes. If we see a pullback I would imagine it would be in new product. But, shows I have been attending have been booming with new collectors and investors mainly geared towards new product. I think HOFers and Rare RC's / inserts will continue to appreciate in value 🎉

I think the individual cards sales will increase as many collectors can't afford to rip packs and build sets. When I started collecting, that is what you did and now is if I want a set, I buy it complete.
