Cynthia Cooper was college teammates with Cheryl Miller. In wnba vs olympics team game Cheryl Miller played CC alot and Reese only played a little bit and was not in game in crunch time. Cheryl miller knows hoops

Swoopes won 4 wnba chips in her first 4 years where she was drafted by a dynasty.. after cooper and other's left houston swoopes won mvps but no chips. Swoopes resume vastly overrated when you dig deeper into it

What’s so goddamn funny is Black people pretend they support or supported the sport of the WNBA which is false. it wasn’t until Kaitlyn Clark got drafted white people start paying to come see CC and support the league to get the teams charter flights and new media rights valued at $2.2 billion. nobody else had the star power or it factor like Kaitlyn Clark

You know damn well that the WNBA will NOT!NOT! Promote a straight white woman to the top and to the front of the pack.
They can not say ever that a 22 year old white straight woman is a phenomenon. And is appreciative of her opportunity and her team. Clark never tries to make herself stand out. She always compliments her teammates and her opponents. Clark is a respectful and quiet player.
But the WNBA will not ever get behind a white woman. They need to have a black woman as the face of the league and if the women is gay even better for what the league want.

The problem with the WNBA is that the old guard are demanding respect and acknowledgment that they feel they should have. And they are demanding it from a generation that didn’t see them play. The people of their generation didn’t care for them. They didn’t want to watch them. So now that they see this new guard being praised they feel disrespected. They are blinded by their ego. And there’s where the jealousy and resentment comes from. But these are not their fans. These are this new generation fans. These new players look up to them. Idolize them. Want to learn from them and be mentored by them. So if the old guard want to be praised by these “new fans” they have to embrace these new players and their fans will notice that and start to give them their flowers as well. Cause let’s be honest. Before the new fans came you couldn’t really talk about a fan base for the WNBA matches weren’t sold out. Merchandise wasn’t sold out. Media wasn’t talking about them. So stop being jealous and ride that wave

Cynthia Cooper was HER back in the Comets days. She was an absolute beast/legend, extremely quick with a soft touch around the rim. Sheryl swoopes will always be second fiddle to to Coop, maybe third fiddle after Tina Thompson lol

People should know that Sheryl Swoopes was fired as women's basketball coach by Loyola University in Chicago after the 2015-16 season, after 10 of the 12 women on the team asked to be released from their scholarships, because they didn't want to play for her anymore. They cited her bullying, intimidating style of coaching, and said she threatened to take away their scholarships as a "motivational tool." She may have been a great player, but she's a trashy person, and the WNBA dishonors itself by giving her a platform to spew her lies and bile concerning Caitlin Clark.

I think one reason for the bitterness & jealousy towards Caitlyn Clark is because of the endorsement money she receives. The bad news for them is that Caitlyn Clark attracts fans, while they only attract flies.

It's not likely Swoopes will change her tune about CC anytime soon, if at all. She is intransigent in her views and she just won't let it go and admit CC is a fantastic basketball player that is uplifting the entire league with everything she does. A high tide floats all boats and everybody's boat is floating higher in the water because of CC. Lots of goodies coming the way of WNBA players in the near future. Her teammates are catching on and they love playing with CC. They only benefit from her being on their team. Swoopes is upset that she won't be one of those benefiting financially like many current players will. That's part of it, jealousy, envy, anger etc. Throw in the R word for good measure. It's a sad case.

Sheryl swoops is definitely a little jealous. I doubt she cares as much as people are saying. She's just mad because she understands why Caitlin Clark is as popular as she is It's similar to Eminem as a rapper Eminem is as popular as he is because he's a great white rapper in a Profession that is dominated by black people. America is 60.9% white. If you think it doesn't have something to do with how popular they are, you're just not being honest that doesn't take away from their greatness, though. That is how people are. People like what is familiar to them. They like to feel represented in they're sports. There's nothing wrong with that
