The political incorrectness is exactly why these movies are good. Lets face it hollywoods self defeat is its only quality. 😁
@saltandlight2379 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Glad these movies aren’t being made anymore. We underestimate the effects of media on society: movies like these send harmful messages that actually affect women, queer people, and people of color. It’s really not that hard to make a funny movie without sending harmful messages to the audience.

List gets its own L

Can we mention Coyote Ugly when the female protagonist straight up auctions her boyfriend (yes, in a sexual way) in the bar where she works without his consent nor even telling him in advance, so that he can make up to her for I dunno what? And he just goes along with it, ending up spending a sexy night with a stranger lady for money, and she not only gets away with it (and keeps the money for herself), but this is presented as sort of "cool"? Just imagine if the roles were reversed! But even so, what the effing frick?
@globetrekker86 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Totally agree about these films, especially *The Notebook*: A threat of suicide leads to a date, then a domineering, meddling mom creates havoc and heartbreak for her only daughter

alternative title:
10 good movies made when people had thick skin, which offend today's oversensitive woke snowflakes.
@snappycrossfire710 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
This might be unrelated, but trans people and non-binary people are NOT creepy groomers. Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@philipcalderon3208 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
I don’t understand why “Crash” couldn’t compete against Clint Eastwood’s “Million Dollar Baby”. Both movies came out in 2004!
@hattyg123 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
I watched Shallow Hal in 2021 for the first (and only) time and I felt so horrible after watching it - I understand what it was trying to say but I think they did it completely wrong
@JacobAndJamal August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
This list was ridiculous. I still like most these movies… This is framed by the type of person who frames everything as “problematic/toxic” . 🙄
@julkasteven8198 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
I disagree with #3 & #2. I still keep watching and AM entertained by the former. The latter holds well because its Franchise is soon to be expanded and Has Fantastic visual effects and is at the top at the box office, thanks to numerous re-releases.
@edwinmaguillicuddy9069 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Ha nice try at getting us to subscribe and like the video at the end, after you trash classic movies that are IN NO WAY offensive to normal everyday people.. It’s cringy lists like these that are partly to blame for the piss-poor quality of entertainment we’re getting today! EFF OFF!
@ClassifiedRanTom August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
You know, it had me thinking, there was nothing wrong with these movies at the time of their release, yet if some snowflake has a problem now, the movie “hasn’t aged well”.

Maybe the actual problem is you.
@TheNecessaryEvil August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Get over it
@dalelerette206 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
A sad part of this supposed 'criticism' is that IN MANY WAYS society has not changed.
Only the 'people in charge' and the 'labels they use' have changed.

But each generation has different thresholds of acceptance. And the generations that feel really "slighted" generally have a greater inclination to rebel. If they are 'social morons' they lack the necessary discipline to control themselves. They lack the sophistication to recognize that THEY ARE WRONG in allowing these new labels to so easily 'trigger' them.

I loved 'BIG' 1988 and 'Superbad' 2007. I loved all the movies in this "Top 10 2000s Movies That Haven’t Aged Well" And most people who complain that these movies have not aged well have revealed themselves to be "social morons" in the same way as that Banker from 'Ghost' 1990. ❤

Get the old narrator back. This one has an annoying way of speaking.
@ladymary22 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Very few movies can hold up after time.
@trinat347 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Shallow Hal actually still holds up, is it perfect? No but the core message is still relevant
@AyitaIam August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Garden State still rox..great soundtrack..idc how anyone else feels...if I enjoy it ,ai enjoy it. I don't think too hard about ideology etc.
@bodyhairpositive9485 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
The worst part of Shallow Hal is that the they get a skinny actress to wear a fat suit to play the fat version of Rosemary. The first 10 times I watched this movie, I never knew that the fat and skinny versions of Rosemary were played by the same actress. I thought they were played by completely different actresses.

So there really was absolutely no reason to get the actress to wear a fat suit. They could have just hired a genuine fat person to play the fat version of Rosemary, and then AFTERWARDS hired a skinny actress who looks similar to the fat actress, to play the skinny version of Rosemary. Because there are a lot less fat actresses.

That would have made the movie a lot better.

And it would have been a lot more respectful to fat people. Because instead of skinny people making media about fat people and dressing themselves up as fat to tell the story, they could have hired and paid an actual fat person to more authentically help them tell the story.
@Riddletold August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Most of those movies aged like fine wine to me.
@kristinachaney7391 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Shallow Hal and Knocked Up are great. "Today's social climate" is the whole problem. Complaining Avatar is a white savior movie 🙄
@valerialaya9715 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Avatar is fckng great.

Every movie on this list is funnier than anything they come out with now
@neledemeulemeester754 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Long live 'woke' culture. Soon laughing will be socially inappropriate alltogether. On a more positive note : Katherine Heigl can FINALLY rest in peace about her carreer being destroyed over her opinion on this movie. 🙄🙄🙄 God I'm glad I'm not living in America, land of free speech, as long as you're not scared of getting cancelled that is
@jamesparker1127 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Love Actually: A man confessed to loving his best friend's wife...
Yeah... That's not creepy at all.
@brandon.lewis. August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
None of these films have gotten better or worse. There's just a large group of people who need to lighten the hell up.
@stephenarthur366 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
These aged well and were t bad. It’s a shame movies aren’t like this anymore
@NatashaSingh988 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
It is a woke people problem. They find every pun and joke offensive.

Bruno is still one of the funniest things Ive ever seen.
@paulee4927 August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Despite the majority of the movies having been crap at the time they've been published, this list shows one major thing: how boringly prudish the USA has become in the last years. MOJO and Will Smith can't take a joke.
@reztoc August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Speaking of being dated, why is there a Ms. Mojo? Is there a Mr. Mojo?
@oliverpony August 31, 2024 - 9:37 am
Why we don't talk about Bruno 🎶
