Thank you for posting this, I just used the latest MiniMig MegaAGS file which only had 4 minimig files to copy to config but it all still worked. I still have all my original amigas plus some more and the Mister performs exactly how I remember the original hardware. Thanks again for posting this video and getting me back on my feet with the Mister!

Any chance you'd be able to do a video on installing Workbench 3.9 so that you can use it as the A1200 with the latest Workbench to play demos and such?

Since update all already adds this core, do we need to see add all these extra files or just kickstarters and the roms?

This has been replaced with AmigaVision as of December 25 2023. Same basic concept, just a more updated package. It's on archive. I wish the ao486 was taken as seriously. It's unfortunately a wreck compared to Amiga cores.

I don't get it. All this effort to emulate the Amiga. Whereas you can just emulate the Genesis and play almost every game that was on the Amiga, but it's better. It's like all these AmigaTards never played a Genesis

I wonder though... Why is it not combined?

The FPGA HW emulation and software CPU emulation?

like a fast ARM CPU for emulating MC68??K CPU/FPU and an FPGA for specific hardware / custom chips

That would be like a standard Amiga with CPU acceleration card?

I do not know if: it is possible, would be better, and the end price point, but why not?

I love this MiniMig core, and I thought for a while that Rod-land was a bit faulty with the controls....
I couldn't get any button to generate the ladders.
I just found out that you have to press shoot+Up or shoot+Down to do then.

All is well.

A lot of the games in the MegaAGS pack are PAL. Is there anything that I can do in the core to get it running on my ntsc crt? They all run well on my lcd monitor but I can only get a select few(for example the broderbund games) running on my crt without a scrolling flicker effect. Thanks :)

This is weird...the Amiga core itself doesn't seem to exist on my MiSTer. I followed everything in this video, but I can't test it without actually having the core.

For those looking for the link...I hear there's an org that is know to archive things. I bet if you searched megaags on a site like that you would find what you are looking for very quickly.

yes! I have always passed on trying amiga on my pi3/pi4 emulation station/retropie installations... but this looks amazing. I do recognize a lot of these from my Sega Genesis... But these look and sound better. Keep recommending stuff great video
