Goddammit can't find a PS4 anywhere where I live!!!!! Its sold out at all the major retail shops and even at the local Sony World Showrooms. I want a PS4 so bad….
the difference between ps3 and ps4 is rather small really. Yes the resolution is twice as high and performance more stable. But looking at the lighting, texturing, character model count. They are just about the same. Yes the shadows are less aliased and there seems to be more detail on the plantlife, but the difference seems rather small for a system with 10X the power.

@Midstr8 the more you optimize a game the more expensive development cost is. plus its if you optimize for one console more than another you'll have a better version of one than another. Also there's a limit to optimization in a game. a good example is bf3-bf4 but you could also say that it uses a pc optimized engine..in the end theres a limit to optimizing. You cant optimize Uncharted or halo or WoW with max settings into a ps2.. A good example is GTA5. GTA5 was HEAVILY optimized for consoles and thats the main reason why theres no pc version yet. the have to develop one..

If you have a HD tv that is max res is 720p then it will be down scaled to 720p.

Who said they are not good. Consoles are great if you want exclusives, cool online(if you are willing to pay for it) and have fancy cases and controllers.About hardware, they are the same as PC but $100 than a PC that is as strong. But PC will have more uses and not only gaming. Plus, you can upgrade any time, where as with consoles, you will be stuck with it until the new one comes out, and you will be forced to play games on a horrible quality. PC also gives you free online and cheaper games.

There are dozens on videos with the parts I am talking about. They are more powerful than the recommended settings of BF4. An FX 6300 doesn't bottleneck a 7950 or 7970. I way not have the PC(even though I am planning to buy it since I have a 1000 euros right now), but you can find benchmarks and gameplays with that PC all over the internet
@ Andreas . Its always a dumb ass with a weak ass PC coming to PS4 channels thinking they know a lot about PC's. You play with a AMD Radeon HD 6620g of course you will think just upgrading a GPU is better, IT Don't just work like that. The performance jumps are not that great until you get to the highest of end Graphics cards. You don't know that because you havn't used a lot of different PC parts, You run into Bottle Necks, with Cheap Parts.
600 dollar pc maxes any game right now at 1080p and 60fps. For next gen you might want to disable some filters or play at 900p to achieve 60 fps. which is still better that consoles
An amd 7950 is $200 and maxes any game out there. You can spend like $260-280 if you want to get the 7970 OC which is an absolute beast.
