A bit of a correction: Satisfactory isn't really a survival game. You do not have to worry about food or water or sleep, in fact sleeping and drinking aren't even in the game at all. There are some hostile creatures that will attack you if you get close enough to them and there are some resources (berries, nuts, and mushrooms) that you can collect and eat to heal yourself if you need to but you'd be perfectly fine if you played 1000 game days and never ate anything.

Godfather 1 and 2 should should be on this list. Both I find to be rather underrated gems that both feature you conquering/taking over city's. From taking out the rival family's goons guarding the business to buying-out/extorting the business owner for "Protection" and doing the same with the back-room rackets.

I do wish someone would create some modern day remake of these two games, but I doughty there ever will be one.

The godfather games were so good. Please release a new godfather. 5 families, and you could steal all of there territory. I would spend hours in that game loop

I never cared for Dying Light ever. Game makes me wanna roll my eyes hardcore 😂 I wasted money on part 2. Games never appealed to me. I just got 2 cus to play with friends

9:23 i loveddd!!!!! Vice city stories as a kid. Taking over areas in san andreas was so satisfying. Combined with a portable gaming system that is also GTA. This was LIFE!

If you're going to include Vice City Stories, you should have instead used GTA Online. You build a criminal empire, including illegal drug manufacturing, night clubs, military style bunkers, etc. but I don't anything in GTA is considered "conquering" it's more just expanding wealth and resources.

Something like Dynasty/Samurai Warriors Empires would have been more deserving on this list, but I guess you discounted those games.

I’m a year late to this video but I stopped playing dying light 2 cuz there was just no sprint mechanic…. I know sounds petty but honestly willing to give it another shot after hearing it’s a skill that u have to unlock which is lame but it is what it is

Now there is a mod for Skyrim that lets you start your own faction and take over Skyrim. The mod is called Conquest of Skyrim and it’s buggy but amazing. I had a lot of fun with it.
