Omg poor Jessi, still she was brave to confront the student and the teacher she did right

@kdramahholic August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I love whenever Jessi get angry in a variet show they started playing SSENUNNI

@fndjufri August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I really feel for her when she talked about how she was racially abused as a kid.

@martabraun4642 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Guys importing a murder on that teacher and kid anyone wants to join?

@nabilahuda3447 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Jessi is not surprised about the kid got revoked from Harvard due to racism bcos she experienced worst. There are more racists in Harvard currently as well

@Liztastaney7 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Jessies right. Everyone is racist towards everyone in America. Harvard is filled with badmouthing racists. He was eliminated bcuz he said stuff about jews. Since they are majority teachers at Harvard.

@funkypinksoul August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Jessi's story is especially relevant now that there's so much Asian American violence. The racism and hate need to stoppp 🇵🇭

@ag5774 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

‘If it’s racism everyone would get kicked out’ LMAODHKDHD THATS TRUE THO

@winwinsonlylinesinboss August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Yeah racism is so normalized, if it wasn't until very recently something actually started to get fixed. We are NOWHERE near finished, but at least companies and schools actually care if their employees or students are racist or bigots in general. Before 2020, racism was seen as something that just happened just because it did and we could never change that fact. That racism and bullying was just a part of life and we had to learn to endure it and if we didn't, we were weak. We had to build up our own immunity because if we didn't, only we would be the ones hurt in the end.

And I see how violent korean school violence can get, but its not the same thing in the states. Korean & US violence are both terrible, but in different ways. In korea, its more of a social hierarchy and the violence is more inhumane like treating people like pets to get you stuff. And I think there's a lot more sexual abuse in their schools overall. In the US, its more of a you have to survive by yourself. It's less of a your group gets bullied for being poor, it's more of a you get bullied for being a certain race, a certain LGBT+ identity, or just because they want to. There is more actual physical violence in schools, like real fights.

The key difference is that the type of common bullying and the moral of the countries. In Asia, the key is being respectful at all times and they value kindness a lot. In the US, kindness is great, but it is a more individualistic view of life. So in Asia, a lot more younger people are willing to just take the bullying (key word: more, not all). In the US, more people are willing to have bullying just turn into regular school violence (key word: more, not all).

Both countries deal with bullying very differently. Especially in the US with a high rate of school violence. At least in the area I live, I live in the South of the US, and the schools in my county have a LOT of school violence. People get into fights often and they're filmed. It isn't even treated as something serious, its treated like it is just juicy gossip that students have. Even if you asked me now, I don't personally think that school violence is something to lose your career over, and that is sheerly because of how desensitized I am to school violence. Because it is not a systemic issue between the high class bullying the low class, it was just bullying someone. Sure there are cases of bullying because of class difference in wealth, but that surely isn't the case with most bullying here. Most bullying is just bullying someone for reasons like their identity is "taboo" or unwanted, they're an easy target, or even out of peer pressure to bully others around you.

@sunset9994 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I would do the same if I was Jessi

@sunset9994 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

THE TEACHER WAS A KAREN

@hyejeong96 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

most of the girl who is mentally strong like jessi have same experience as her. including me
stay mentally strong girls

@Blueravn August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

She's JESSI don't expect anything from just enjoy her personality

@ncr1264 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I’m so sorry Jessi had to go through that during her school years. I can’t speak for other countries but in the US racism against Asian people is sadly normalized or unrecognized as “real” racism. However, I think more people are aware that racism against Asian people is real and more people are working to stop it.

@evabessioud276 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

They were all really saying so soft stuff 🤣🤣 I think that they thought that Harvard was in Korea to cancel the admission for so less than what they are saying ahahahha

@evabessioud276 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I would say that he sold drugs but idk maybe

@secret4672 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Don't let her brothers (kim jong kook and jackson) meet them who make fun of her 😏

@Acsissy1234 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

“She’s so fun loving”
COME ON !! we know right..😂

@AthiLmero August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

It hurts even More when ur teacher don't understand u…or maybe but they just ignores it n hurts far More when ur 'Friends' don't support you n again it hurts so so much More when ur parents says "it's ok that happens to everyone" n don't take it seriously ..n that's the reason why most students commits suicide at a young age because they were The victim of bullies…I mean COME ON!!!!!! don't just sit back n watch everything… it's easy to say n hard to do..but u gotta believe in yourself..
N I got so angry hearing Jessi NGL I mean wtf was The teacher doing??!!! U didn't c when that student teased Jessi n did The eye thing but u saw when she hit her?! Wow…u suck bro 👌
Yes she hit her with The book n desk loud n clear because u shitty fuckers turned a blind eye dude..

@mermaidjsmne August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Wait where's the rest of it.. Where is the full video 🥺

@jamiesweet4352 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I totally understand her I didn’t think it was racism too. Cuz it so common and most teachers they don’t even care, they think it’s none of their business. Growing up I had a few racist remarks towards me, I probably didn’t have it worst as others. But there was time where people would cuss me out in the streets just for being Asian. They would say a lot of different remarks, say they fucking hate Chinese, when I’m not even Chinese. So yeeeh. Racism is still a big thing, and I just feel like it’s never going to improve. It will always be there. It’s disappointing that there’s still a lot of parents that don’t educate their kids about it.

@annasanders8634 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

She's right…
Peoples don't care when Asians are being harassed or beaten up by racists of other ethnic races…
But if watermelondrea gets beaten up then all hell break loose and suddenly the entire world is outraged….
DOUBLE STANDARD! !!

Asian lives are worth NOTHING. ..while the "others"matters….

@user-ys2dz4vd8u August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I love u jessi so much

@alyssamaesebastian4995 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Am I this smart because at beginning I'm thinking of racism😂

@redsicat01 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

but among Asians, Koreans are the most racists. Just saying…

@angeliescobido2037 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I experienced the same thing. I always got teased because of my physical appearance. I don't look like White, Black, and Latina because I'm an Asian. My schoolmates back then would even pushed me. I always cried whenever I got home and there were so many times I didn't wanted to go to school anymore and had to keep it everything from my parents. But I still managed it and finished my studies anyways. It was terrible.

@MeiMei-er3jy August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I love that I can see Jessi a lot ❤️ and I love how everyone is accepting her personality ❤️

@auroralyrics2714 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

jessie unnie had a tough time . but now look at her !!!

@telexcyrajkumari981 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Jessi mood swing is like happiness pill to me cause I can relate😂😂😂

@justchillin2999 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I get why racism was the answer. Alot of people are getting called out and canceled becasue of racist things they said in the past resurfacing. So it makes sense. And when jessi was talking about her being teased it also makes alot of sense, I can remember people making racist jokes about asians and other races when I was younger and still to this day.

@paimonspie8913 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

I love how open Jessi is able to be about racism toward herself in the US, I hope this really helps people in Korea to understand how it must feel for outsiders in Korea too

@kurtcometa4818 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Everyone in America talks about "Black Lives Matter" but Asians gets equally discriminated and they didn't talk about it like it didn't exist

@priestboy16 August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Jessi saying HOW RACIST WAS HE is a fat ass mood.

@user-ly4wt9xp4i August 21, 2024 - 2:22 am

Honestly they don’t care about racism only if it’s on social media and if it will effect the college’s image
