This Man Composed Music for Hundreds of Pornos

Musician James Lynch scored music for adult films in the 90s and early 2000s during the heyday of porn. James’ work was even recognized in 2008 by the Adult Video News awards – porn’s Oscars equivalent – in the Best Music category. Unfortunately, he lost out to a digital recording of an Eddie Van Halen song.

VICE follows James as he scores three genres of pornos in his home studio in California.

Some of these porno scenes have some really banging music. When I hear a good song at the start of a video I instantly try to search for the title using the Shazam music finding app but never come up with the right song. I wish studios would release the music featured in their pornos.
