Anyone watching this in 2023 just to let you know it's much more streamlined now and I don't even need to boot android to open ps remote play, I was able to make it an app in my switch home among many other things. They've come a long way doing homebrew on switch

A better solution now is chiaki, but to have it work correctly on ps5 you'll need to use a modified version. I will post the link in a reply.

Wow. I was super excited till I found out the joycons don’t work. Touch screen controls ruin every game. “But it’s ok for what we have”. No…. It’s really not. I have a backbone controller that attaches to my iPhone which made me think it would be cool to just put the app on the switch and go at it. But I gotta Jump thru hoops just to get the app just for the joycons to work.
