The RTX GPU in this laptop is useless. The onboard GPU in this thing is more than what I need.
too small – you can't do anything except documents on this size of screen go for 15 or 16 inch then ok
It's like a more refined Flow X13, too bad about the refresh rate.
How is the track pad? Is it a traditional diving board style or modern haptic touch?
Waiting for a minis forum version of this laptop..
I will stick with my Ally as of now..
Hi, thanks for your review. Have you tried any linux distro on PX13? if not can you try a live usb? i'm interested in dual boot with windows 11
As an Architecture student who also games in spare time, this is a dream come true.
The downside apart from the price is the 60hz screen,
i currently have an Asus laptop similar to this one spec wise and it has the military grade shell protection HOWEVER. it won't break from a few feet up but the frame will warp. it is made of high quality aluminum and once it warps, there is no way of fixing it. mine fell on a corner on tile and bent the metal on that corner of which i could not close the laptop properly. i called asus and their insurance does not cover frame damage. They we're going to charge 367 dollars to fix the bent metal which would eventually put stress on the oled screen when closed and potentially break it. I ended up finding the keyboard cover metal component on a chinese website (it took ALOT of digging into the net). I ordered the part and replaced it myself for 90 dollars. Asus makes stellar products but their warranty is absolute trash and the logistics of finding information on dismantling the device for repair as well as finding replacement parts for it is a fukin nightmare. I do intend on buying the PX13 soon but i caution those looking to buy this, ALWAYS use it while it is on a flat surface and never walk around using it because once it drops you are going to have to shell out 300-400$ to fix it.
Unfortunately lags 120Hz, otherwise an interesting Laptop
The rog x16 should be a pro art , just slap an asus dial and military certificate and label it a pro art
Its 13 inch screen, are they trying to wreck my eye sight?
Cool laptop but i'm more interested in the train wallpaper running in the back. name????

When doing a review the first thing that needs to be mention is the Price and specs.
Really disappointed it’s 60hz
wtf just 60 hz ?
my ROG got 144 hz 💀
if the screen only goes to60hz why show the frames going past 60 if we can't go past60hz? im not that informed so maybe idgi?
The RTX 4050 running at 3K is Awesome….
why do anybody needs 4050 there. with 890M. not such a difference with this resolution
How does this laptop compare to HP OMEN – Transcend 14" ?
Doesn’t even do 120hz at 27 inch display and make my bed 😂 deal breaker
Is the screen as grainy as the surface oled?
call this proart or for creators so that you avoid a high refresh display?🙄🙄🙄🙄
Probably not the primary purpose for this machine, but I'd love to see how gaming performs in Linux on it. 🙂
The Zenbook Pro 14 OLED is the same price with better specs and it looks better
The OLED display doesnt look like 500 nits tbh
Man they really gave up on xgmobile real quick
Love the form factor and overall configuration, hate the windows dependent software to control the novel hardware features. If it weren't 100% dependent on windows I would definitely get one of these.
It’s a 4050 you can not really game on that 1800p. It’s little misleading. “With rtx graphics” you could have said 4050. But you know people would write it off and maybe not watch past your normal audience.
For reference, Flow X13 is similarly priced at launch, Z13 is a bit more expensive with that freaking proprietry eGPU.
Still I won't buy it for a 4050 or 4060. For GPU on laptop 4070 is my baseline, or else just get eGPU or a desktop + second handed work laptop at this point.
If you care about mobility and pen drawing, get a Windows tablet and leave the rendering for your workstation at home, or just use Macbook if you don't mind touchscreen / pen, Apple's ecosystem and you love Final Cut Pro (I personally hate it), get an iPad for the pen drawing (What a shame they don't have Macbook tablets, surely they go for the money milking strats).
For gaming I would totally get a G14 at this point.
Comes with iPod dial
I thought you would surely test iGPU vs dGPU (RTX 4050 vs 890M) 🙁
Here in my country the price is 4k usd for rtx 4050 wth 🤬 is that made by gold or diamond?
So much to like with this 👍
Could have had 120/144Hz, then allowed users to choose to lower refresh in software.
Kindest regards, friends and neighbours.
Besides the Stealth 13. What would be equivalent to this machine for 90% gaming and the rest for productivity?
I wouldn't call AMD's "C" cores, "basically efficiency cores." It does injustice to their capabilities.
They're not that much more efficient than the regular cores that are downclocked to the c-core levels.
Compact cores, as I'd call them, have exact same functionality as regular cores (SMT, AVX512, etc.).
Think of it this way. In a power-limited environment like a notebook, you can't run all cores at max boost anyway.
So even if you had 12 regular cores, only a few of them will be able to boost very high. The rest will have to be limited due to power.
So having 12 regular cores gives you nothing extra vs. having 4 regular cores and 8 compact-cores.
Can u please try the one with 4070
stop the frame generation benchmarks
😁😁😁👍👍👍
Can you review the INFINIX gt book laptop
Great video! It would have been even more amazing if this device came with an Intel processor. I think it would have offered better performance and compatibility for a wider range of applications. Keep up the awesome content!
Isn't anything above 60 FPS a "really playable experience"?
