Hi Gene! This series looks really good. Node and Socket.IO have matured a lot since you made these. Would you still recommend ImpactJS today for building real-time html5 games?

for what aspects are Impact and Socket used. Do I need them if I don't want multiplayer or Real Time?
Really enjoyed this tutorial series, it's really easy to follow and hallsofvalhalla is a great speaker. It's a shame that it wasn't finished (I haven't found the last couple of videos atleast) but well worth the watch
