Coming off a flop album and his biggest hit’s dwindling popularity, aging rock star John Allman (Harry Connick Jr.) decides to take a break from his career to reclaim his spark. He moves to an isolated cliffside home on the idyllic Mediterranean island of Cyprus. His dream of keeping a low profile is derailed when he is routinely confronted by desperate souls and later faced with even more complicated surprises when an old flame reignites.

Just watched it. Even though it was a bit cheesy but the movie has everything. Stunning scenery, beautiful musics (esp some gypsy swing), romance and funny too. Recommended 👍

I just read how Agni Scott got the storyline for this movie .
It was based on people committing suicide from the Gap here in Sydney Australia.
I actually have met the man the movie was based on around 5 years ago.
He stops people committing suicide , he actually told how he picks them out
He lives in a Apartment at Diamond Bay , 5 minutes up the road from the Gap.

This cheezy movie has everything to please me... but I found myself constantly re-writing and re-casting it. The clichés are too visible and ruin the illusion of spontaneity. And the charisma of the actors and actresses is not bad but not natural enough to make me dream. Plus, I kept thinking about the little segment in the movie ''Love Actually'' with Colin Firth and the Portuguese actress, in the same style but better written and dreamier. And... without necessarily ruining everything, the woke and exaggerated feminist virus always finds a way to corrupt all the scenarios of this present era. This film, without being too overwhelmed by these illnesses, nevertheless does not escape them. Other than that... the craftsmen of the film and the main character could have built a more beautiful fence... Would that have killed them?

Great storyline, And the song "Find me falling" is brilliant. 🎉
My father John used to sing a lot of Johnny Cash. Harry reminds me of the Johnny That embodied every emotion and word of the song. Well done!I like this Harry singer-songwriter best of all.

Finally our country is on the map!!! Just got back from cyprus a month ago. We have property in Kolossi outside Limassol. This movie is a true depiction of our culture. Thank you for doing it so well.

It’s unfair that he’s painted as the jerk for his reaction to finding out about his grown daughter. She never told him about the pregnancy, nor did she tell their child. She made all the decisions herself, without taking accountability, wanting everything on her own terms and gets upset when they react.

Great acting but horrific story line. I won’t share the spoiler but there is an asinine lack of accountability and culpability shown by one of the main characters. Outrageous.

The writers for this film should be lined up, identified and then thrown out of the industry for writing some of the most trashy lines I've ever heard. Really, how did we get to this? Amazing place. What a waste of a great paradise of a location.
