I'm surprised that it's been 15 years since I was listening to Def Tech's My Way.
It was used as the theme song for a show featuring high school baseball, so this song reminds me of summer (since the Japanese high school baseball tournament is held in summer).
The positive lyrics would be a message for kids who are practicing baseball hard every day.

The Japanese high school baseball tournament is the gateway to becoming a professional baseball player. Every year 4,000 schools qualify for the tournament, and only 49 schools are selected from that pool. There are 200,000 students across the country who aspire to make it to the tournament. And only about 700 students are able to participate in this tournament. And from there, only about 80 persons are selected in the draft. And only about one in every five years makes it to the MLB.

This song is a message to the 200,000 kids who practice for more than five hours every day to grab that dream.
