Each tool, especially power tools have varying degrees of danger associated with each type. An example is the radial arm saw in comparison to the table saw. With the radial arm saw, the blade is more exposed than with a table saw. Even some of the recommended practices when radial arms saws were first introduced to the DIY market were extremely dangerous. Granted a radial arm saw could be safely used, just as with a table saw, but the radial arm saw has a more exposed spinning blade and can easily disembowel the operator where the table saw, it is almost impossible. For those you wish to comment, yes; a table saw can be dangerous, too.

So, let’s take a look at the Harbor Freight Hercules Circular Saw Beam Cutter Attachment. The level of danger: Is it closer to the radial arm saw or that of a table saw in the degree of danger?
