PS1 aged great IDC what anyone says. All the Spyro, crash, Rayman, twisted metal, tony hawk, tomb raider, driver, syphon filter, metal gear solid, fear effect series. So many one hit wonders too like jersey devil and blasto. It's my favorite to play and collect for alongside the Genesis. It's what started it all

I grew up in the ps3/360/Wii era and I have to strongly disagree with the PlayStation 1 not holding up to todays standards. FF 7,8,9, RE 2,3, Dino crisis, metal gear solid, chrono cross, ape escape, and so many more. I find the character models, voice acting, and the pre rendered graphics so charming. They feel more like a art choice now than a constraint. While games today all feel the same and never try anything new, the ps1 was the definition of a experimental console.

Have you ever tried to use a mouse for the on rail games on the ps3, if so does it work? Booted up area 51 on my ps3 and the d pad works but the mouse was so much better.

I play completed the disc 1 of RE2 about 6x but i didn't play disc to 2 because im exhausted after playing disc 1.

Mine are Area 51, Maximum Force, Time Crisis, Crypt Killer, Gunfighter Legend of Jesse James, Die Hard Trilogy, and of course still playthrough original Resident Evil trilogy yearly.

I love the original three Syphon Filter games on PS1. They take a little getting used to in modern times, but they are tons of fun and have a great straightforward action style in their gameplay. Their influence can still be felt in modern third person shooter games.

grand tour racing 98 if you get the chance. a fantastic racing game. the feel is like an early gran turismo but with a ridge racer type of gameplay. great fun to be had for sure and the secrets will have you coming back for more.

I play most of my favorite PS one classics nowadays through my PlayStation vita however I just ordered a very good condition PS two for the purpose of being able to go back and play some PlayStation two games as well as to play some of my PlayStation one discs, even though they play on my PS3, I noticed in Gran Turismo just this week, doing the very first license test, the timer will not stop on time for the starting and stopping challenge? I do not know if this is on the fault of Bad emulation on the PS3 or if it is something else? All I know is back in the day I was able to get gold on every test in the game after a few tries and I sat there for a few hours and could not get below silver because the timer would not stop when I brought the car to a stop, it would go for another half a second to a whole 2nd and a half?!?!

So I ordered me a PS two and I’m hoping that it runs like it supposed to on that?

But the PlayStation vita is an awesome device for going back and playing games like resident evil and Dino crisis and driver and final fantasy seven, eight, nine and Zeno gears etc.

And if it is modded, it is even better!

I got metal gear solid for Christmas of 1998 and it was one of the first games that literally gave me goosebumps hearing the music at the introduction!!

Had no idea what we were in store for because in my opinion, metal gear solid changed the landscape of cinematic action games moving forward and from that point on, people knew that Games could be just as good as movies if not better!

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is probably my favorite game of all time, on any platform. Sad to see that it didn't make the list on yet ANOTHER YouTuber's channel.

Replaying FF7 and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night every year to a few years. They are the only PS1 Games that keep me coming back, but i think this is because i dont have a classic CRT TV anymore. Otherwise i would also play Time-Crisis 1 up and down... PS: Cool Video, thanks for the Content.

This generation is to 3D as Atari 2600 was to 2d. The 2d in this generation however, was very well done. It shines the most on Saturn because of the ram expansion.

Man loaded is giving me serious awesome memories. I remember my cousin and I would take the game out and put the Puff Daddy Victory cd in while playing. Just shooting everything up while that song is playing. The nostalgia.
