Now that this is available and I've had a chance to try it, I think I'll be buying a copy. One thing you didn't mention (or I missed it) is that it takes up a lot of table space. Even though it's a card game, don't try playing it on a small cafe table! I have never played Russian Railroads, but definitely enjoy this one. For people who have owned it for a while, does it stay fresh? Yes, there are some optional modules to try, but does the game remain interesting over time?
I usually don't pay much attention to train themed games, but this "Murder on the Orient Express" module really sold me. Looks really cool.
This looks really cool. Would you say this is easier to teach to newbies than Russian Railroads? Thanks for the thoughtful review as always.
Just ordered this from Cool Stuff Inc after seeing your guys' review and Rahdo's run through. I don't normally buy euros or train games, so this one fills a hole in my collection and looks like a ton of fun. Thanks for the review!
BTW- your intro graphic desperately needs an update! I love your channel, and the intro pans over the logo kills me every time. Any 3D artists out there who can animate something new like your NEXT graphic intro would seriously raise your quality bar, especially since the rest of the show has such high production values. Sorry, just being a backseat producer. Keep up the great work!
I'm not really into trains games but this one looks cool
One of my top 5 games of 2016. I have played all of the modules except C multiple times. The best combinations seem to be A/D – A/E – D/E. Module C the murder mystery sounds cool but plays poorly.
Which train themed game did you guys like better… this or Railroad Revolution, which I know was in top 10s

Thank you for reviewing this. I picked it up, and would be playing it today with a friend if I hadn't caught a cold. It looks fantastic. I'd love to see an updated top 10 of 2016 from you guys in a few months.
