None of these stack up to the beating of Christ in THE PASSION.....I remember people leaving the theater crying over that scene

Not surprised to Irreversible here. There's a couple of scenes in Pink Flamingos that could go here - hated that film though tbh. Serbian Film definitely has a couple of nasty scenes that could make this list.

I went into this list knowing itd be tame compared to what i believe will really test your limits.

Yes, these are all pretty F'd up, but I could easily come up with 10 worse ones... much much worse. Ones not even worth speaking cuz you should NOT watch some of these films

Some of the scenes in hostel I thought were particularly horrific. I love horror films I do not like blood and guts, though, or anything to do with torture animals, children stuff like that, but straight up horror films with big jump scares, and when I went and saw hostel, I don’t really think I knew what to expect because it’s the only movie I’ve seen to date that I almost puked… 🤢 I couldn’t eat my popcorn twiddlers I couldn’t eat nothing all went in the trash pissed me off..🤷🏻‍♀️

This top ten video outing might have been considerably more enjoyable but for the incessant rambling of the BICTH commentry. Here's an idea... how about for more of the entire 9 minutes, you tried shutting the FCK UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't watch anything after the first 10 min of Edward Scissorhands due to me fear of tree trimming
Miss Peregrine's ~ Children is beautiful but unfortunately has some scenes from the same garden of Edward Scissorhands
Annihilation 2018 is also too scary to finish for the exact same reason
The eponymous choice in Sophie's Choice is something no one wants to rewatch
Se7en is realistic and the victims are fully awared of their pain, heavily built on "nothing is scarier"

Hereditary 's ants and original Suspiria 's maggots are too disgusting to watch while new Suspiria is perfectly fine for me
Final Destination 5's acupuncture scene is even more difficult to watch than Audition 1999's needles because the former is so damn realistic

The Doom Generation abruptly kill off one of the trio after the threesome for a sudden downer ending and it's heartbroken to watch
I hope Harry and Marion can reunite and rekindle their relationship since is possibly the only thing capable of saving them both in Requiem for a Dream while completely innocent Sara is totally doomed

It is somehow ironic watching Ellen Page who now is allegedly male being the "hard candy" that uses her female attributes to lure that ped0 and does to him the opposite of what was done to her... Weird in so many ways...

In the novel Misery, Annie does not use a wooden block and does not shutter the knees of Paul... no, she finds simpler and more gruesome method, she cuts his legs below his knees... But I guess for the director that was a bit too much, so they had to be innovative and tune down the misery that poor Paul has to endure...

Another hard scene to watch is the suicide scene of Pele/Dead in Lords of Chaos, it's really accurate to the actual event and is incredibly convincing

The weird thing is, in American History X, they were trying to lure him out to kill him and take his car. There were three in total, and he killed all three, but only went to prison for two.

Honestly I think one of the hardest scenes to watch is the death of Private Mellish in Saving Private Ryan! Its one of the very few scenes that makes me forget I’m watching a movie honestly! The whole film is very intense but man that scene is just horrifying!!!

The first time i saw the 2017 IT movie and didn't know what would happen, it was impossible to watch that scene where Pennywise talks ro Georgie under the sewer. So creepy
