But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

A bunch of sore losers, it was embarrassing to watch. Abby and her girls are NOT perfect, NOT unbeatable and certainly NOT the best. I have no idea why Holly and Jess came back but i guess they caught the fame bug like all the other fame hungry moms.

Unpopular opinion: Their 2 solos are both equal for me, Maddie had the leaps and emotion and Ava had the flexibility and technique.

Everyone just talks about how Maddies great solo lost and the competition was rigged because of her loss. But is nobody gonna admit how gorgeous Avas solo was? She has just so pretty technique and turns 💙

idk how ava won maddie on this one, but i can now see why maddie got second place and not first:
-the competition was possibley rigged
-the choreography was kind of bad, it was way too fast in my opinion and did not fit the music
-maddie's moves were great, but she didn't have time to complete any of her moves, they all were cut short before reaching the maximum length. this stuff is pretty important for nationals

No hate to maddie but i can see why ava won. I feel like the solo was just very predictable and the concept just wasnt strong enough for nationals. Avas was more intriguing and mysterious and gives you a vibe thats different from most of the dances on this show idk i just really enjoyed watching it and maddies not so much not that she didnt perform brilliantly it was just predictable and therefore kinda boring.

I felt like this Nationals was a little but off. First, the waiting room was AMAZING. It should have totally won but it got second. Then, Maddie’s soli’s emotions are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Ava is a good competitor, but I feel Maddie totally should have won first

This comp was so unfair. Maddie and the waiting room lost. Kalanis solo that didnt air won the duet trio division. Kenzie solo that didnt air won 4th jn the junior solo category, but won the overall she wasnt entered in!

why are all of these comments about “omg Maddie should have won!” “This is rigged” “no maddies turns where beautiful she should have won” but have y’all realized how good ava was?
