i know i shouldn’t respond, because it’s only like 1% of the comments, but man, i can’t describe how surreal it feels to see comments accusing a real thing that you lived through of being “obviously fake,” lol.

the time in the upper-right corner changes because this is a recording of me playing back the voice messages i’d received from the dude earlier that night. obviously this wasn’t recorded in real time as i received the first message – I WAS PLAYING BACK the voice messages he’s sent me already while capturing the video. not that the time changes would prove anything to begin with!

and even putting that aside: literally how would i fake this? i googled this guy’s real gamertag and showed ON SCREEN the results i found – including actual screenshots of his years-old FortressCraft account that i discovered his real name on. i’m not sure how someone could even begin to fake that.

i know there’s a whole genre of people on the internet who are absolutely terrified of being tricked but man. it’s fucking exhausting getting comments like these all the time, lmao
