Why would they use these dumb fucking screws? Just use regular FUCKING screws. None of my screwdrivers fit, specially that middle one omg i'm losing it

Super useful video, thanks man! I was just about to put those marks in the plastic as you said that. The plastic tool is better for not damaging anything. I was able to replace a broken back plate and the side plates and joysticks fairly easy with this video. Much love!

My first ever controller's analog grip got broken over a year ago and I got two other controllers since...if I had discovered this a long time ago I could've just changed the grip after watching this video🤦. At least my gf got her own working controller after this video💯💯💯💯💯

Thank you. My controller is having connection issues and I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a simple cleaning issue before trying to figure out technical issues or being charged an arm and a leg for repair/replacement. I'm 63 years old and your basic instruction for getting the grips off and removing the four (and a half) screws was perfect for checking it out. I had the right size tool to by pass the security screw and get it clean.

Hey bro I got pry tools if you need some they're super cheap and way better to use other than a butter knife or a flat head at least if you don't want to scratch up plastic on God let me know I'll send you some

So I’m an automotive technician and I’d like to put out a PSA you can buy every tool he references in her the video for under 20 dollars at harbor freight, keep the receipt and return it for a full refund. They typically don’t ask why but if they do just tell them you thought you needed them but it’s just not what you need. And you can do it all from there the “right” way. Tested and confirmed
