I worked at a gym, a supplement store inside a gym and a stand alone supplement store, the smoothie bar is kinda good for some of the members but thats it, most regulars that go 4-5 times a week wont spent 8 bucks for a smoothie daily when they have their powders at home, its a massive hassle, it starts to stink, and using quality name brand proteins for shakes is mad expensive without having many servings. The clean up sucks big time and stuff like milk goes bad easily because when people are busy shit gets left out sometimes. I would recommend invest in a few fridges and shelfs so that you can expand your variety of RTD's like shakes and energy drinks and get as much variety in protein bars as you can, people will find stuff they like while having it be quick and easy. When you claimed that the memberships are down over 6 months : it is worth considering that gym memberships peak at the beginning of the year, and decline as people give up on their annual goals and the weather becomes nice in the summer and they spend more time outdoors. Cheers.

I think turning a small profit is amazing for 6 months, you always hear that most companies are usually at a loss for about a year or more before they become profitable.

Oh boy. SEO "experts" are fake. There is nothing you can do to improve SEO without using dirty methods that will get you banned from appearing in the results. The best thing you can do is simply make a good website that loads quickly and has lots of links. More traffic will give better results. It will take around 2-4 months for seo updates to really propagate and with something like ironforge it may take longer.
