No Other Golf Games Need To Be Made | Table Golf Association Review

#LiegeOfGames #boardgames #tabletopgames

The Table Golf Association (TGA) is the first dexterity game that allows you to design and play your own golf course.

Using 25 two-sided wooden terrain tiles, you decide the layout of the course, and make it as easy or difficult as you choose. The game comes with a Tee Box and several different “holes”. You complete the course by adding tiles that include roughs, sand hazards, trees, water hazards, and a cliff, as well as the fairway tiles. The game includes four balls that are basically mini-shuffleboard pieces that you must flick from tee box to hole, while trying to avoid the hazards just like in real golf.

How does it actually play though?? Is it as good as it appears? Will you like it as a non-golf person (cough…cough…me)? Let’s talk.

Thanks for watching!

Cool game! But you need a lot of free space for it. As I have not, I made an electronic abstract game with golf scoring system . In my game you need to flick ....a fidget spinner in order to move abstract golf ball from one hole to the next one. https://youtu.be/d6wDxsJFdB8

Agree with the idea of wooden tiles but for me I def feel better about skipping this one since I foresee too much trouble with its high skill threshold for entry displayed; thank you as FOMO quenched

Wow Chris, thanks for sharing in the frustration and fun with us! LOL Love how you explained this and how spot on you are with everything. Couple things, we do highly recommend a play mat, or rubber mat of some kind. That keeps the tile in place and truly elevates game play. You can even use a yoga mat or exercise mat. Also, the cardboard tiles have taken a beating from us and are holding up great. I think it's because our game uses a ball that glides over the tiles, and not a wooden disc that can hit corners hard or cause more friction and damage tiles. In any case, the Pro Edition is faster than the cardboard tile surface and no doubt requires a great deal of skill. Thanks again, completely awesome review!

There isn’t a wooden version on the new campaign, the tiers are base game and family big box (both are cardboard)

So, in your opinion we shouldn’t back it right?

Also, could you do a close up to the tiles?, I wanna know if (the wooden ones) are different physically between them (regular, hazard, the ones with inclination)

I backed the original game (wood tiles) and it's been fun. I agree that aligning the tiles can get cumbersome. There are many times when I flick the "ball" and it hits an edge and goes off course. But overall, really fun and challenging game with almost endless replayability
