This is out of date, with the new app you cannot connect to an Xbox with a laptop anymore
I just want my Xbox series X to use my laptop as a monitor none of you have a correct tutorial to do that or its so hopelessly more complicated than any of you want to admit nothing you have said has worked absolutely fucking nothing
Can I full shutdown Xbox and unplug cord when remote play is enabled? Will remote play stay enabled when I power on Xbox again? Or I would have to set it up in the settings again?
i tried this with my mac via windows bootcamp to stream with obs but the resolution quailty was bad, now i still play on my tv while doing all this but the remote play stream is always bad res, is this just how it is? hw can i fix it, use a better monitor?

Personally I see it as my frame rates go down in the later hours either internet connection is weak or servers are unstable but it’s almost the same as the first companion app they made a very long time ago
