I've heard of the Palenque Astronaut but never really dived into the topic but then I noticed the part of the carving above the Astronaut that looks like a engine closely resembles a electrical device that was common place about 100 years ago called a "Mercury Arc Rectifier". The Arc basically converted DC into AC & glowed a neon blue when in use

The Arc has everything the carving shows - two arms for anodes on sides , high powered electric magnets, pool of Mercury on top with the igniter...

Sure the carving takes a lot of artistic expressionism and parts may look different & out of place but as a machine they both appear to perform the same function...

Now if one takes all the many historical facts about Mercury (such as how ancient Hindu texts claim they once made flying machines powered by Mercury) this theory seems very plausible in my opinion.

I definitely believe in extraterrestrials. Im just not sure i see a space ship in the carving 🤷‍♀️ im not sure what it is after starring at it for a while 😅 theres so much detail and the lighting is weird. I would guess the carving on the lid is more about a spiritual journey. I mean he was dead, why would he need a space ship? Not saying they didn't have them at all. Or maybe hes getting really high, snorting something? I see pipes and like an iv bag or something like a pouch.. idk its crazy every bit of it is different each side unique... Is that a bedpan?

So we live in a world where the play outter space... coincidently this ancient illustration is interpreted as an astronaut...so let's pretend this illustration isnt fabricated... was there another illustration of where he went.. what happened... we here we believe he went? Nope just this confirmation of "outter space" existing to add to the story.. just as the existence of dinosaurs goung hand in hand with the imaginings of outter space..😂

More Looney Tunes Fantasyland from The History Channel. Get back to roots and put on documentaries of true history of the World. I just saw a few minutes on TV of a Maya Show - Aliens this and Aliens that - but what I see is another vacation for Childress, Giorgia, and otehrs. What Hogwash. According to me - we have never had Aliens in Ancient times nor current times. Stone Masons made buildings. I see rocks all over the place pointing to the Stars. I'm thinking there are Rocks in the Heads of Ancient Alien Theorists. I've never met one and I do not know one person in history nor family tree who has met an alien - I've seen some on Buck Rogers, Star Trek, 2001 A Space Odyssey, and Strange Encounters of the Third Kind

I hate it when people make mock these guys and discredit their opinion..because no one can be absolutely sure that they are wrong and main stream archeologist are absolutely right. In the end its all speculation and theory.they are all opinions put forward based on how they interpret the carvings and artifacts.

This is a rocket clearly. But not how we know it. The back isnt fire. Is something that gives the rocket thrust to leave the earth's magnetic field. And there is some dust from the thrust. Even a kid can see that.

Humans came to earth about 65 million years ago ....they landed in the Yucatan. They came sets stuff up, they would leave and returned to observe and to bring new plants and stuff like that. Every trip they would take would be a few weeks, but down here on earth thousands of years would pass. eventually some stayed, the observers will return some time in the future. ... the Olmec ... look at olmec stone heads .. some look asian, some look african, etc. ... from Mexico, they migrated south and north, then to other parts of the world.
