Me personally, I favor this era of video games. It's got style and that 90's heavy metal attitude. I also really like the detail in your ammo counter. The numbers are bloody on the bottom when you use the Fang Spitter and metal when you use the shotgun.

I heard its really hard to make models for Quake. How did they do it? Why is there no behind the scenes video for the development of this game?

Damn, i bet this is a much early version of the game, but i just finished the latest release and mine doesn't look as pretty as this one here!! The colors are much better, they shine better in DARKPLACES, ok the switches were a little bit weird 3:47 but everythng else is much prettier, even the death effect.

Trash game with lots and lots of bare bones game design issues. Where i have to question the competence of these so called "veteran" developers!
These issues will never be fixed, henceforth this lackluster game isn't worth my money. Old school can be good. This is not!!

The Swan Song of 90's Generation FPS. After the release, we can all sleep soundly knowing perfection has been achieved. Not to mention, years more of Modding and, who knows, if we are lucky we might get a DLC!

lucky beth/id software is not like crytek go bananas to CIS starcitzen folks for using AMAZON improved Crytek and better than Crytek engine ...once they made it opensource , their is no reason original developers going suing like Crytek made the case not favorable in their opinion when they don't understand what is opensource code means and john carmack do know what it is...ITS GIVING BACK TO COMMUNITY TO MAKE THEIR GAMES
