I recommend, emulation: Queijo shader preset to RetroArch. Graphic filters with CRT effects. Greetings.

2:40 #7 Snatcher Makes no sense to include this in the list in English because it only exists for PCEngine in Japanese. The way it is presented is as if there was an English version on that platform, of course anyone who has the platform or knows Snatcher is aware of this, to other people it's just purpusefully misleading.

LOL are you freaking KIDDING me?? That's quite literally the Sega CD version of the game you're showing here. It's not even a PC Engine CD title! It was a totally different port for the PC Engine and has never been translated to English, much less with English subtitles. What kind of bullshit is this? Wow.... Instant thumbs down!

Funny thing is the Bonk's Adventure for the Turbo CD actually had worse graphics than the Hu-Card version, as it lacked some of the animations and parallax scrolling that the HuCard version had. Very strange indeed.

R-Type...best shmup...no. Thunder Force IV wipes the floor with it. Strider for the PCE Super CD ROM pales in comparison to the Genesis version; However, the rest are amazing games!

That is NOT the TurboGrafx CD / PC Engine CD version of Snatcher, thats the Sega CD version. There is no english version on the TG16/PCE CD. Have you even played any of these?

Dont forget you need the Arcade card to run those Neo Geo ports - but for a technically 8-bit system they re amazing.

You put fucking Lords of Thunder above Ys Book I & II? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!

And Rondo of Blood definitely deserves one of the top spots, but, again, sorry, it doesn't come even close to Ys Book I & II, particularly in regards to the Godly soundtrack, incredible story and cutscenes. There is simply no comparison.

Also where is Ys IV?

I'd also have put Snatcher above Rondo of Blood. Snatcher is quite something.

There's also Tengai Makyou and Legend of Xanadu II... So many gems not even mentioned in this video. :( Sorry, I see your passion for PCE throughouyt the video, but I deeply disagree with the title: "Top 10". The PC Engine is a treasure trove that goes deeper than just that...

No Spriggan?
Pretty terrible selection if you ask me. Strider is quiet awful, Bonk 3 on the CD does not add anything more than the cd music compare to the Hu-Card, which is pointless and Prince of Persia is an ok port but this machine offers much better.
There is so much better than these game: Spriggan, Spriggan II, Sylpha, Star Parodia, Ys IV, Legend of Xanadu, Tengaimakyou II Manjimaru, Emerald Dragon, Magicoal, Gradius II, Nexzr, Forgotten World, Rayxamber III, Burai 2, Fajias, Gulliver Boy... Even Download II, Mystic Formula, Pop'n Magic, Macross 2036, L-Dis and CD-Denjin are better game than some of your selection. Agreed with some of your choice thought (Wing of thunders, Snatcher, Dracula X, Ys I and II).

It's amazing how much of a little powerhouse this system was. The RAM expansion in the CD add-on REALLY opened up the potential of the graphics chip inside this thing. With the RAM expansion it is definitely the most graphically impressive system of the main three 16-Bit systems of the time. The graphical difference between the HuCard games & the Super CD games is pretty big. Some of them look like 32-Bit titles!

I love how in your preview pic you show a picture of the Arcade version of Strider. the PCE port is absolutely horrible. Was suppsoed to be a Supergrafx game and it just got shoehorned

Did you burn it as ISO only, ISO w cue, or BIN/cue, or something else? Im thinking of trying it for the few 300$ plus games I cant buy, but dont want to make 400 dead CDs lol. Thanks in advance buddy.
