Sounds to me only something the US could come up with...
What da dawg doin’
It 'prohibited the sale of anything whose purpose was to "harm or defraud", [including] child pornography, stolen credit cards, assassinations, and weapons of any type' (Wikipedia).
The Secret Source of this hidden information are in hiding, their faces and voices often altered, and who are under threat by various powers, forces, groups, who wish to silence their efforts to "...speak the Truth...". Like a game of Spy-Vs-Spy, if any commentator questions the veracity of these Secret Sources, they are accused of being False Flags or Counter Intel and are often BLOCKED from the platform ( an unusual practice considering the platforms creators commitment to Free Speech ). Of course the more interesting aspect to all of this is that any Secret Source who had a real secret that needed to be communicated in manner that was safe for both the source and recipient, would not be on the surface web to begin with, but few understand this. When this "onion" is unpeeled deeper, what one finds instead is a small cottage industry of platforms and individuals earning an income from the sales of books, YouTube Clicks, and side bar merchandise ( most often geared to weapons collectors and survivalists ).
These platforms often become the playground for "commentators" who under the guise of private citizens are instead persona's for other larger entities that have their own agenda ( aka GRU IRS FancyBear, etc ) populating specific ideologies or re-actions to underscore an agenda.
Should you ever have the time and inclination it would be interesting to do a very deep dive into the most well known of these platforms, who the creators are, their history and the history of the platform, book, website, blog, and YouTube Channel and the very real effects this sub-genre of the net has had on the net and society at large.
