How to Use Sony PlayStation Gold Headset on Xbox One | Tutorial & Sound Test

Since I’ve tested this PS Gold Headset on the Nintendo Switch (in addition to my original unboxing and test on the PS4), I decided that I might as well finish the big three gaming consoles and test it out on the Xbox One!

This video contains a bit of a tutorial on how to use the PS Gold Headset with an Xbox One Controller (via 3.5mm cable), and for those of you out there with older xbox one controllers (without a 3.5mm audio port), I got you all covered too!

Hi, I bought a Xbox series S and I have one gold series headset, I’m using with the p3 cable like you, but I the mic won’t work, I have already watched a tone of videos to help on my problem and I did everything. So let me explain what is happening, the Xbox recognize the headset and the mic, on the audio settings the mic options is enable, I updated my controller, I have already wiped the console’s cache, I have checked on the privacy and communicate options and till now, nothing helped, if you know what is happening, please, leave a reply. For now thanks (sorry if I did any grammatical mistake, I don’t usually speak in English)

question. i've got a new x 1 controller, the same headset you do, and a audio 3.5mm jack with the 4 sections. why won't this work?

Hello Friend. I'm trying to use my gold headset on Xbox Series X. But there is a problem with the audio. I'm using the four-way cable (3 black stripes at the connector). But a kind of echo happens. My friends can hear their own voice. When they speak my microphone also opens, and the voices are "doubled". Can you help me?

Good video , I use these headphones on my new xbox series x of course wired into the controller using the 3.5mm jack lead . My question is , am I getting the full sound quality out of the headphones by having it wired ? . Is the sound the same as if I had it Bluetooth dongled as I would to my old ps4 pro ? .
To me it sounds just as good but I hear things about 7.1 suround sound and that it only works through wireless.
Please advise

I have the 4 conductor AUX and 2 controllers with the built in jacks. Also the gold headset. Neither controller works. I never get the headphone icon on the dashboard or sound through the headset...
