As I recall KM Bismarck was hit with 400 15 and 16 inch shells plus 1000's of smaller caliber
All 800 feet of her deck was ablaze and yet somehow over 1100 crew managed to jump overboard before being scuttled
The NIST and the fire tropes are Spagetti at best and noodles at worst
