It's way worse than Razer or Scuf controllers and is way more fragile and more expensive than most Razer controllers, so why is this the best controller?

I've had two elite controllers and both fell apart (literally) within the year. Don't waste your money on that junk.

The elite feels outdated now, PlayStation and Nintendo both have Gyro. The steam controller had gyro. Elite controllers need Hall effect analog sticks and triggers, and Gyro.

Dual Sense is also usable in multiple platforms (i use Linux and works perfect in Linux, i heard that in Windows doesn't work so well).

I've had all the different xbox controllers throughout the years. They all wear out/break one way or another and usually rather quickly. I thought spending the money on a creme of the crop Elite Controller will save me some cash just by lasting longer, but no -- it's actually the worst built controller I've ever owned. The plastic is coming apart and a couple of the buttons no longer function.

In short, buy the cheapest Xbox controllers, because even the expensive ones are just as shitty in terms of build quality, if not more. This way you're spending less.

The one s controllers are the best. The series s/x controllers are slightly smaller and have that sand paper grip which is just fucking awful.

As much as I love my elite 2 controller the second I got it one of the joysticks had a problem and had a weird jamming feeling soo idk if I will buy another after been disappointed after spending the ridiculous amount of money

Elite controllers are absolute garbage that don't last!. I have 2 that are boat anchors now, and I am 44 and BABY my gear!. There is PLENTY of videos here on pootube of these things failing left right and center!. After having had 2 elites, I will NEVER buy another microsoft product again in my life, so help me!.

I have two elite controllers and both of them the bumpers are shot along with the b button on one of them! I’ve been just using the basic $60 one it came with and it’s been out performing them 😢

I had never tried a dualsense or dualshock controller before (well since the ps1) and so I went into a store and compared the current gen Playstation controllers against current gen Xbox by feel and the PlayStation ones were more comfortable to me - surprisingly.

Xbox Controller don't use hall senors and are very prone to stick drift, wont get any more xbox controllers because of that... mine is a bit over a year old and now suffers from extreme stick drift on the right stick in the y direction... i think i will just try out the new gulikit kk3m once it's a bit cheaper
