While sugar consumption has decreased it has been replaced with artificial sweeteners which are even worse, not calorie-wise but they are even more addictive and harmful metabolically. That is why decreased sugar consumption did not help with obesity.
We have seen several people in our circles who have become addicted to diet coke and have gained massive amounts of weight since they have started drinking it huge amounts.

@jamok3 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Lol. I would have thought #4 observational data was because of how ostensibly short bodybuilders are.

@TheVitalij24 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Animal proteins boost cancer grow. Proven. Its toxic for human body.

@nemure July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

first myth is wrong from the start, high protein diets myth is they are bad for the liver, not kidney, and this is true. But will heavily depend on source, these diets are based on red meats which are indeed dangerous for the liver on abuse or long periods

@OkieDokieSmokie July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Sugar makes me fat. I know that much

@jaytonbennett9722 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Hey Jeff, huge fan of your programs and content! Do you use massage guns such as the theragun? If so what is the most beneficial way to use it during hypertrophic training? Thank you!

@atozbodyfitness6311 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

exactly, i have been saying for a long time, it's not about singling out one specific macro such as sugar for obesity and then diabetes. It's the total consumption of calories and the amount you keep eating. that's what it comes down to. sugar intake after you are diabetic is a for sure problem but even then it is your total consumption to.

@aguy4124 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Great video

@brandondavis3585 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Jeff, do you think saving your carbs for after your workout will help you to burn more fat and build more muscle? For example, I would eat egg whites and ground turkey for breakfast and keto stuffed chicken breast for lunch, then go workout and eat all my carbs for the day after the workout.

@samgershtenson8294 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Great video!!! I learned a lot

@DiogoVKersting July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

What about basal metabolic rate? Does restricting calories affect that? What about "digestive system efficiency", does it increase in cases of caloric restriction?

New studies have shown that foam rolling is practically useless, both before and after training, although it has slightly greater benefits after. It works like a placebo at best. Just stick to your mobilization routine.

@charliesams7644 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Thanks for the sign language captions weren’t working😀

@maiden5427 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

someone should do a study on how reliable research studies really are

@zsoltsz2323 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Sugar doesn't make us fat. But it makes us hungry, and THAT makes us fat. It's like saying "gun's don't kill people because someone has to pull the trigger."

@alypixar4690 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Great video

@roanysebaert July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Is it ok to split a full body workout in 2 smaller workouts and do them with 1 hour between

@miglesakalauskaite9060 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

Do you actually need to consume all of your proteins during any part of the day, or you can change things what's on the plate, and the timing is not as important?

@hossskul544 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

You keep saying that things aren’t legitimate if they’re not rooted in science. Sometimes science is wrong about stuff, sometimes science has it caught up to what we already know, chicken soup anyone?

@brezylikethewind July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

I like how you make it simple. If it works, do it. Doesnt have to be black and white all the time

@nickminor831 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

This has got to be one of the only reliable channels on youtube. Most of what I see when watching is just plain WRONG but this is all backed by cited studies! Awesome!

@sooluckyseven6709 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

About sugar, I think Jeff that you should look at some graph about our consumption of high fructose corn syrup around the same years that sugar declined. It’s cheaper and make us more sicker than ever before. Sure sugar consumption drops but the industry just replaced it with high sugar corn syrup. Look at Robert Lustig if you have some interest in the matter. Thanks for the video, continue the good work.

@carastone3473 July 13, 2024 - 9:27 pm

I have my doubts that sugar conception has actually gone down LOL
