@nwlondonmetaller3427 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

I have studying this conflict from 2007 and I say to anybody who is studying this subject, read documentation. Propaganda is a powerful tool which looks to deceive the average outsider. Palestine is nothing more than an Islamist cover for Ummah domination of the land of Israel and it will not stop there. Don't take my word for it, read: the Ayatollah Manifesto 2015, Hamas Charter 1988, etc. It is not clever for artists, to take sides in conflict as it creates divide. They are musicians, not activists and politicians.

@theskidmarkoforion4829 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Oh dear the season of mass pointless virtue signalling is upon us.

@mojopin2000 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Cancels for Barclays, keeps slaving for Live Nation…
Accomplishing nothing.

@kevindeanwriter367 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

When Jews defend themselves it's always been very bad…. to nazis.

@leftbehind4030 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Im of to open a Barclays account and yes free Palestine from hamas

@jeremy7818 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Pretty much zero comments supporting the bands. These bands are a bunch of clowns no one paid to see anyway… boo hoo… the B stages will never recover 😂🤡🤡

@roygronholm2753 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

People go to these festivals and listen to the bands to get away from all the bull crap… and here we are bringing politics into the mix. There are two sides to every conflict and the news only wants to show one side.

@e-mo666 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

All of you saying "keep politics out of music" – you aren't really aware of music history, are you? Especially the hardcore scene? Which most of the bands in question are? 😂

@morbloodethjenkins7646 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Then they support terrorists publish a list so they get to feel Oct 7th.

@yoshim7991 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Folks gotta stop making everyfucking thing political.

@alestyralva13 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

What happened to the slogan, "peace in the Middle East?"

What happened to being anti-war?

I guess that happens when you become an advocate of bloodshed and not actual peace, huh?

@cj_mac87 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Who actually gives a fuck.

@pmunkey1 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

It's pronounced. BARK-LEES😮

@antho9101 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

@Eth_666 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Why the fuck are your arms on the table like that 😂

@porkchops2 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

I got 2 minutes in and I can’t watch anymore because he can’t say Barclays properly

@tyweisenburger8480 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

This video makes me want to go shopping and use my Barclays card.

@martinwhite7197 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

I was at Download, It was still great fun in the mud. Good riddance to those dumb activist bands who virtue signalled, pulled out or did not get paid. More fool them! They try and ruin all the fun and they are the ones supporting a terror organisation. We should not give in or let them hijack a major event. Hard working people save and wait all year for Download and for a bit of escapism. No sponsors means no festival.

@GoodJobGabeGames July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

People have always loved to fight for power, that’s never changed. Humans will never be above war. Your bands not gonna change anything by cancelling a show. Just play the show, I’m sure there’s a lot of people that paid for the ticket to see you. You hurt them for sure.

@NigelFortune July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

I've never heard of any of these bands that pulled out. Total non story 😌

@JamesSmith-qy3eu July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Music is supposed to bring people together. More divide and rule.

@1983electric July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

You saw how Palestine treated concert goers last time? And you support that??

@Willie_Jones76 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

I don't listen to nobody's like those clowns 🤡🤣

@graywolfdracon July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

A pro-palestine group deciding to be destive and violent says more about them than those they protest against.

@bi7630 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

The same people that call people nazis for disagreeing with them are acting like literal nazis. Typical behavior in 2024

@bradfoster8146 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Me- "people can't be this dumb"
The "activists" – hold my soy latte

@blutomindpretzel1735 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

once again, what is wrong with defending Israel?!
These are bands that nobody cares about or has heard of anyway, so no loss. Tired of everything being a platform

@toyingaroundtoys July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Dont think ya got that far ,man.

@mattieharris3747 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Most of the bands their where bands I never heard of that pulled out of the line up to download festival. One band stayed on the line up but threatened to take action. I was like if didn't like Barclays being a sponsor don't show up for download. I was there for the whole weekend for download putting it politely it was a shit show of an event with bands not being up to par or snuff. Some bands I saw where amazing. Enter shakri can go do one i heard them they sounded crap.

@darlenejasmin1972 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

they dont care about their fanbase and are holding them as a ransom to get their political ends….. these bands havent given alternatives for their fans to see them just "we wont play for our fans at your event if you dont do as we want……. its childish….. do as I want or Ill throw a tantrum and ruin the days of people that care about us and made us who we are……. Ps Id love to see what shows they do for other events financed by other groups that do things worse…….

@Shagrath71 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Terroristic threats and vandalism are not protests.

@SM-nz9ff July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

If I was Barclays I would sponsor all of the evens so the bands can't make money lol

@JohnnyJabrone July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

"Were gonna look at all perspectives" thats why you the man Mr.Rock Feed!!!

@jodale1972 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

1. If you resort to criminal behavior for your protest, you are the problem.
2. If someone breaks into your house and murders your children, I guess we just let them go free, forever?
3. When you plug in your EV to recharge it, where do you think that power comes from?

@fittingthepieces July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

ridiculous at best! there is no telling how many shows these bands have played not knowing or worse understanding if causes that some of their sponsors support. not bringing your muai😢to the masses doesn't do anything but piss most of us off. if you want change then take the stage, play your music and use it as a platform to talk about what you want to see happen in our world.

@davidanderson1639 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Whilst I don’t condone the horrific acts that have been carried out in Gaza since last October, part of me wonders whether those protesting would put the same amount of effort into protesting against the treatment of the Uyghur Muslims by the Chinese Government?

In addition to the arbitrary detention of Uyghurs in state-sponsored camps, government policies have included forced labor, suppression of Uyghur religious practices, political indoctrination, forced sterilization, forced contraception, and forced abortion. Experts estimate that, since 2017, some sixteen thousand mosques have been razed or damaged, and hundreds of thousands of children have been forcibly separated from their parents and sent to boarding schools. Chinese government statistics reported that from 2015 to 2018, birth rates in the mostly Uyghur regions of Hotan and Kashgar fell by more than 60%. In the same period, the birth rate of the whole country decreased by 9.69%.

Chinese authorities acknowledged that birth rates dropped by almost a third in 2018 in Xinjiang, but denied reports of forced sterilization and genocide. Birth rates in Xinjiang fell a further 24% in 2019, compared to a nationwide decrease of 4.2%.

These actions have been described as the forced assimilation of Xinjiang, or as an ethnocide or cultural genocide, or as genocide. Those accusing China of genocide point to intentional acts committed by the Chinese government that they say run afoul of Article II of the Genocide Convention, which prohibits "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part," a "racial or religious group" including "causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group" and "measures intended to prevent births within the group".

Do the lives of Uyghurs matter less than those in Palestine; or is it a case that the narrative fits?

@marcoesquandolez4737 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

These so called protesters have no idea how the world works….So sad.

@andyo-southpawguitaruk5322 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Barclays complaining about their sites being vandalised, why? I thought they'd be over joyed to close more branches as they've done themselves already

@nativestrengthandironnutri6852 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Download costs too much now and the line ups are terrible add the horrible weather, I won't be going anymore 😢

@maggotmusic757 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

So all of these bands have played shows sponsored by countless evil corporations over the years, but this one is where they draw the line? 😂😂😂😂

@MK-ps2jp July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

Gotta love the left eating itself 😂

@ryanlangdown6918 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

To be honest, it just sounds like people being woke as usual. Look at your own countries and all the things they have done .committed genocide in foreign lands. Yet, how come no one stands in protest to that .

@alwaysabiggafish3305 July 11, 2024 - 8:42 am

In British its actually pronounced Barcleys
