This is a comparison of Unreal Engine 4 (UE4.15) with Unity 5 (5.6). I compare the features:
UI Editors [00:30]
Asset import like static or skeletal meshes [01:54]
Animations (Persona, Mecanim) [02:31]
Materials [03:53]
Programming with C++, C# and Blueprints [04:44]
2D and sprites [06:10]
Post-processing and finally [06:34]
Cinematics, Sequencer [07:20]

A tutorial on ue4 mobile touch input in C++
If u are a beginner and want to learn blender i will recommend you CROSSMIND STUDIO utube channel… Literally its the best BEGINNER tutorial channel i ever seen (even better than blender guru😁)
Alert : u will regret if u ignored my comment😁
I think unity makes more money than unreal but they are like google and they only keep the money to their self. Unreal engine is always giving free assets and new features like water systems or better physics.
This Information is no longer relevant a lot of things in the unit have already changed and improved
Thank you for all of your tutorials and your plugins. i have learned a lot and been able to accomplish much because of them. I did come here to make one request. can you please make a play list of your ue4 videos? it helps me to keep track of them. honestly, i did not know they were here for some time.
Edit: It is quite strange. there are only a few playlists when i try to check your playlist list, but if i search your videos page for 'playlist' it comes up with a Bunch, including the UE4 playlist. is this intentional?
Edit 2: Ok. i see they are on your 'Home' page. by habit, i just go to the playlist page.
Thanks again. be well!
Unreal Sucks
Roblox is about to disrupt the balance with there 100% free 'future is bright' project. The reputation of roblox is plagued with the non-use of meshes
You can make a fair comparison about Godot, Cocos2D, Unity and GameMaker Studio. For me they are from good to bad,
1. Unity – for complex 3D creation of games
2. Godot – for great 2D tools and nodes
3. Cocos2D – IDK, but I saw it's very powerful with 2D
4. GameMaker Studio – Great for 2D. But it now also supports 3D modelings and animations but with third party tools.
Actually, unity is not perfect to develop a 2D game. But Godot Engine has it's great tools and nodes to make a professional 2D games. For 2D I use Godot. But my PC is low-end. So I was never able to use Unreal Engine in my PC. I use unity for 3D, quite powerful. It runs a little slowly, but with enough speed.
After all, I use Godot for – 2D games,
Unity for – 3D games.
PP_PROFILE
I had to use Unity back in college, and I didn't think it was that bad. Since starting university, I have been using Unreal and it is soooo much better. I hate coding, the Unreal nodes are super helpful.
Thank you for this
Outdated video as of now. Unity has updated with Shader graph, post-processing and etc.
He sounds like a German?
Prefab are also possible in ue4
Why always this discussion about whether Unity or Unreal is the best?
Everyone should know that Notepad is the king! 😂
Noob -> ue4 (blueprint)
Normal > unity 5
Pro -> ue4 (c++)
unreal 4 is more for advanced coding and better graphics but unity is easier to make games with and it has about the same amout of good graphics
but me: unity made superhot right??
ME again: SUPERHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
If you use any Unreal Engine code in your product (even just a little), then your entire product is governed by the Unreal Engine EULA for Publishing, and is subject to 5% royalties when your gross revenues from that product exceed $3,000 per quarter.
