Why the BBC kept a Saturday mid evening news bulletin still begs belief. A waste of money. BBC 2 never had a mid evening news on Sundays to Fridays, only Saturdays.
They really should have kept that theme tune, instead of the one nowadays where you mainly just hear a beeping noise.
