I don't think every best friend who ends up being close to each other but rejects the other (as a partner) would hurt us completely. But it is true that it really hurts a lot when they reject you, I have my other exes who still remain my close friends but my best friend grew apart after her rejection probably because even she could not take the pain of not being around as close as she used to be and this came in a very culturally embedded way. She grew up in a very conservative environment and such things as love almost looked like crime. We meet Online and guess what even though living in the same city and being close friends we never ever met that is an issue with an individual more than what happens between the two of them.

I think this guy really loved her but she was making some decisions and thinking too practically and explaining it to him or she just wants him to understand that this love is not made for friends.
If your best friend falls in love with you then there is nothing wrong in it, it does not mean that your friendship will break. Love does not reduce your friendship but rather enhances it.

And as far as the situation or awkward movement in the relationship is concerned, when one person is in love and the other has never seen you from his perspective, then that awkward situation is created and here in this video also it was the same. Girl, she had never seen this boy from her perspective or with love and the name of love had not even come in her mind, hence she felt that awkwardness. The rest of the overall video was very good. But if the last dialogues were a little different, it would have been more fun. But anyway, good luck and thank you.
